We Don't Belong

Chloe's POV:

After Rose came back from the bathroom, she seemed... Distant. Me being the caring best friend I am, I asked her what's up, to which she plastered a fake smile onto her emotionless face, and said in a obviously false cheery voice, "I'm fine! Just tired."

This concerned me, but since she refused to let me help her at all, I went to the only person who of late could make her smile. Andy.

"Hey Andy, can we talk?" Simple and sweet, although the tone of my voice probably have me away...
"Uh, yeah sure. What's up?"
I sighed, "have you noticed that Rose has been rather quiet of late? And by of late, I mean like the last couple hours."
He nodded, "yeah I was wondering what was up, she's normally so cheerful. I was going to go talk to her."
He defiantly likes her more than friends.


Rose's POV:

i have yet to take off my t-shirt-cover-up thingy. I'm way too self-conscious to take it off while I'm surrounded by my idols and crush. If I'd known that I'd be spending the week-end with Black Veil Brides, I wouldn't have brought a bikini! Curse Chloe and her evil schemes.

My back literally feels like it's on fire. I guess that's what I get for wearing a fricken shirt when it's beach weather. I turn onto my back, in a lame attempt to shield my back from the suns rays. That is when a shadow blocks my view if the sun.

Opening one eye a crack, I see the walking palm tree, aka Andy Biersack with a lazy smile on his perfect features. His tattooed chest visible for all eyes. Including my own.

"Is there a reason you're blocking the sun? If there isn't feel free to stay right there and block the sun. It's too hot!" I whine.

he laughs and runs a hand through his dark hair, "yes actually, I'm here not only to block you from the sun. Your welcome by the way," he smirks, "but also to drag you into the water. The real reason people go to beaches. In case you didn't know."

"You're just being a perv. Wanting to see me in a bikini huh?" The smugness and sarcasm in my voice blocks my secret fears. He holds up his hands in defeat, "Ya got me. I'm just as much as a pervert as Ashley. Actually no, scrap that, Ashley plays a major role in the child pornographer business." I crack up at that, instantly remembering the Bryan Stars interview.

"Joking aside though, wanna go for a swim? And I'm not taking no for answer, so basically I'm just asking if you're going to go willingly or if I'll have to pick you up." I groan and give in to his strange demands.

Standing up, I pull my t-shirt over my head, and shake my hair out. Kicking off my flip-flops, I take one last longing glance towards my beach towel, and turn to face Andy. His jaw has visibly dropped, and a blush forms on my cheeks. Putting my hands on my hips and slightly pouting to cover my embarrassment, I give him a confused look.

"Ready to go swimming against my will? Andy? Anyone there?" I wave my hand in front of his dazed face, which seems to shake him out it.

"Uh, yeah. Sorry bout that. Let's go." He grabs my hand and tugs me towards the calm ocean. My eyes widen at his public show of affection, and actually noticing what he's doing, drops my hand. My hand suddenly feels cold and empty.

Andy suddenly runs into the water, no doubt splashing me along the way. I cringe away from the water as he dives under. Moments later his head pops up some distance away.

"What's taking you so long?" He asks as I hesitantly wade into the cool surf.
"I'm coming!" I shout over the splash of the waves.

He shakes his head and dives back under, only this time resurfaces several meters away from me. My eyes widen as he slowly approaches me, a devious smirk on his face. I try to back up, but he snags his arms around my waist last second and pulls me flush to his chest. I begin to blush furiously at the close contact, but neither one of us decide to point it out.

He leans his head down to my ear, (he's a foot taller than me. I'm short, sue me!) and whispers in a husky voice, "getting wet is the best part." I swear my cheeks were like, tomatoes at that.

Smirking at my reaction, he pushes off the shallow dune and dived back under, with me in tow. I sucked in a breath to scream, but apparently, if you try to scream underwater, water will go into your lungs. Did anyone else know that? Who'd think that underwater you could drown? Not this girl! Probably one of the reasons my parents never let me go swimming by myself. Oh, and also, I can't swim!

I clung to Andy for dear life, which he found so fricken amusing! If I wasn't a horrid swimmer, he would be so dead by now!

"Aww, is someone scared? Can't swim?" The bastard asked in a baby voice.
I smacked his chest, and wrapped my arms tighter around his neck, "shut it! I can't swim okay? Not my fault I don't have fucking gazelle legs and am six feet tall!"
"6'4" he corrects.
"Whatever," I shriek.
"You're really scared of swimming aren't you?"
"No Einstein, I'm just petrified of drowning and ya know, dying!"

He chuckles and wraps his arms around my waist, which surprisingly makes me feel a whole lot safer. "Better?"
I nod, and look into his clear blue eyes, the colour of the lively ocean around us. The roar of the waves and wind is stronger now that we are farther out, and I'm certain no one on shore can hear us. The world feels brighter, and I smile a real smile. Everything could go horribly wrong, and I'd be fine. A shark could tear my leg off and I wouldn't care. Because I'll always have this moment, with the man I love, in my dreams and in my life. "Better," I say.

So yeah, thought that was a pretty cute moment at the end between Andy and Rose.
