Things Aren't Always As They Seem

~The next week~
So, the party was fun. It was really good seeing everyone. Right now, I'm cooking breakfast at the BVB house. I say "the BVB house", because the whole band practically lives here. I don't want to worry anybody, but I'm getting worse. I stay up most of the night due to consistent coughing and chest pains. I'm dying anyway, so there's no use worrying everyone even more.

I've done my best to spend as much time as I can with the people I love. There just never seems to be enough time. This isn't fair, I'm only seventeen. I just want more time. But I keep having this sickening feeling that the end might come soon.

I sigh softly as I flip the omelet I'm working on. A pair of arms go around my waist, causing me to jump and squeak in surprise. I look over my shoulder to see Ashley doubled over, laughing at my reaction.

"I though everyone was asleep!" I exclaim once Ashley finally gets his shit together. "Oh, you're such an ass sometimes." I mutter and rub my chest, trying to get the pain to stop.
"I'm sorry, but that was hilarious. Are you okay?" I nod, so he continues. "I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, so I thought I'd come see if you wanted any help."

"Yeah, I'd like some help. Help plotting my revenge against you for scaring the literal hell out of me!"

"Oh, come oonn, HK buddy! I said I was sorry." he pouted.

"Yeah, you're going to be, at least." I mumbled, chuckling as I got back to work on breakfast. I just shook my head when he wrapped his arms around my waist again. "You're not getting off that easily, Mr. Purdy."

"Pllleeeaaassseeee forgive me?" he whined, giving me the puppy dog eyes.

"Oh, for fuck's sake. Fine, I forgive you, I guess. Now, do me a favor and set the plates on the table? I'm gonna go wake everyone up so they can eat." I said as I cut the stove off and turned around for his answer.

"Yeah, of course. I don't mind." he smiled as he let me go.

"Thanks!" I kissed his cheek, then went around and woke everyone up. I headed back to the kitchen, followed by a sleepy Juliet and the rest of the guys.

Ashley and I cleaned up after everyone was done, then joined them in the living room. Andy and CC were playing each other on Call of Duty. Ashley sat down on the couch and pulled me onto his lap, making me smile.

"God fucking damnet!" Andy screamed out as CC won. CC just laughed his ass off in response. "Well, now what?"

"We could have a beach day?" Jake suggested.

"Oh my gosh, can we??" I asked, jumping out of Ash's lap excitedly and ignoring his pout. "I love the beach!"

"Well, let's take a vote?" Jinxx said.

"All in favor of going to the beach?" Juliet asked. Everyone raised their hands. "The beach it is!"

Yay! Beach day!

So! It's been like, 11 months since I've updated, and I'm so sorry! I've just been really busy. But I promise, more updates coming soon! This story's almost over, sadly. But there will be a sequel, so yay:3
