Things Aren't Always As They Seem

Everyone went to the backroom for more space. We all sat in a slightly cramped circle on the bed, I was in the corner on the right side. Then, around the room starting from my right side it went: Austin, Alan, Aaron, Jordan, Ronnie, Daddy Andy, Momma Juliet, Uncle Jinxx, Uncle CC, Uncle Ashy, Uncle Jake, Tony, Jamie, and then Vic was on my left side.

"Okay, so who's asking who first?" Alan asked.

"I guess I'll ask first." Vic spoke up after a minute of silence. "Tony, truth or dare?"

"Dare." He said confidently.

"I dare you to smell Hime's feet." He said, smirking.

"Aw, man!!!" Tony complained.

"Are they really that bad?!" Jaime said exasperatedly.

"YES!!!" Tony and Vic yelled at the same time.

Tony reluctantly leaned down and took a whiff of Jaime's feet, gagging a little and jerking up away from them. "I'll get you back, Fuentes." He said, glaring at Vic.

I giggled. "Okay, your turn, Tony."

"Andy, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"What made you decide to adopt Andilena?"

"Well... that's kind of a long story. Jenny, her old foster mom person, had actually suggested that she might be the perfect child for us to adopt. When I walked into the room ti find her, it didn't take long. You could spot her blood red hair from a mile away! Anyways, I caught her drawing a picture of the guys and I, quite amazingly, and I could hear "Savior" playing through her headphones from across the room. Lots of things, really. I could just tell that she should be the one we saved. And I wouldn't go back to change it for the world." He replied, smiling at me.

"Neither would I" Momma Juliet and I said at the same time, causing everyone to burst out laughing.

"Okay, Aaron, truth or dare?" Daddy Andy asked, smirking.

"Dare" he said.

"I dare you to lick Alan's face. Sorry, dude." Daddy Andy laughed.

Aaron leaned over and licked Alan on his cheek, shrugging like it was no big deal.

"Jordan, truth or dare?" Aaron asked.

"Dare."

"I dare you to do your best impression of Austin."

"uhm..okay..." he trailed off, clearing his throat. "DISNEY IS AWESOME, DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PRINCESSES THERE ARE??!! HOW MUCH DOES A POLAR BEAR WEIGH?? ENOUGH TO BREAK THE ICE!!" He squealed out, making everyone laugh.

"Not bad" Austin said, still laughing.

"Alright, Austin, truth or dare?" Jordan asked.

"Truth."

"Is it true that Cashby is real?" He said, trying not to laugh.

"In a sexual sense? No.. in an emotional sense... still no!" He giggled. "Alright, Hime, truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to kiss CC on the lips!"

"WHAT?! Come on, man!!" Uncle CC cried out.

"Okay, okay, fine. It can be on the cheek." Austin gave in.

Jaime sighed, made a weird face and leaned over and quickly kissed Uncle CC on the cheek. He sat back down quickly, wiping his mouth. "Alright, Vic! Truth or dare?"

"Dare!"

"I dare you to kiss Andilena on the lips!"

As soon as he said that, Daddy Andy, Momma Juliet, Vic, Austin, and I all stiffened instantly.

"W-what?" He stuttered out.

"You heard me! Kiss her, Vicky!" Jaime said.

I looked at Vic nervously. He shrugged and leaned down next to my ear. "It's okay, Andilena. I won't hurt you. Just relax, it's just a dare. It doesn't mean anything, and it'll be over with before you know it" he whispered, then gently placed his lips on mine, pulling away almost as soon as it happened. Uhm, okay then...

"Oh, come on, Vic! Kiss her for real!" Jaime exclaimed.

"Yeah, kiss her like you mean it!" Aaron said.

"Nooo, you weren't specific on how I should kiss her, or for how long. I kissed Andilena on the lips. That was the dare."

"Ugh, fine..." Jaime said, defeated.

"Alright, Ronnie! Truth or dare..."

I zoned out for a bit, and started feeling dizzy. I leaned into Austin and told him quietly that I wasn't feeling well.

"I-I'm very sorry for interrupting, but I'm going to lay down for a bit. I'm n-not feeling well." I stuttered, avoiding everyone's eyes. I crawled over to the edge of the bed, took a few steps then stumbled a bit. The last thing I heard was them yelling my name before I blacked out, crashing to the ground.
