Things Aren't Always As They Seem

~mini time lapse to on the way back from the Grand Canyon~
So the Grand Canyon was fun. We had to leave after about an hour, because we were apparently 'scaring people' with our looks and the size of the rambunctious group. But nothing too exciting happened. Right now, I'm currently hiding behind Austin's back from Vic and Kellin who decided to gang up on me. They were trying to tickle me again!!...

"Leave me alloonneee!!!!" I whined, ducking further behind Austin while they tried to lean around him to get to me.

All of the sudden, Austin turned around, grabbed me and ran towards the back room as fast as he could. Once we were inside, he locked the door before they could open the door again.

"Thank you for saving me!" I said.

"Anytime." he said, stuffing his hands into his pockets and smiling softly.

"Soo... we've got about twenty minutes until we get back to the venue. Whatcha wanna talk about?" I asked, sitting on the bed.

He sat next to me and asked, "How old are you, again?"

"Seventeen. You?"

"Twenty-seven..."

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I just wish you were a bit older." He chuckled.

"Wait, why?" I giggled.

He leaned in and whispered into my ear, "Because then I could do this and not worry about it technically being illegal..." he trailed off and leaned in close... too close... and.... kissed my cheek. "Haha, you thought I was going to kiss you, didn't you! I'm just messing with you, hun." He ruffled my hair.

"Knock it off, meanie!" I pouted.

"Aw, I'm sowie wittle Biersack!" He said, patting my head.

"Is okay!" I giggled. "ERMAHGERD, I know what we should do!!"

"What should we do?!"

"We should get everyone to play spin the bottle! Can you check if the coast is clear, pweeaaassshhhhh?"

"Sure" he laughed. He walked to the door and pressed his ear against the door, listening carefully. Then he gently unlocked the door and peeked around the edge. "Alright, I think we're good. Come on, Andilena."

We walked back into the living room and sat down. "Guys!! I have an idea!!" I said excitedly.

"And what would that be?" Uncle Jake asked.

"We should play spin the bottle!" I suggested excitedly.

"Darling... you and Juliet are the only girls here. And Juliet is taken." Vic pointed out.

"Okay... true... what about truth or dare then?" I asked.

"Yeah okay, sure. Anybody not want to play?" Daddy Andy asked.

When no one objected, Uncle Ashy looked mischievously around at everyone and said, "Let the games begin."
