My Fallen Angel
Chapter 2: Why hello there
There he was, Just as nervous as me. He was slightly hiding behind CC as I neared him. his chocalate brown eyes hypnotized me, how could such a mesmerizing person be so shy?
"Hi.... I'm Uh Jake... Jake Pitts. Nice, t-- meet you." he stuterred, clearly terrified of me. I don't bite, do I? "Well, Uh It's nice to meet you too, I'm Clarity by the way." I greeted him with a warm smile.
"Y'all are like little puppies cowering in fear. Aww It's almost funny." I looked at him with a 'I'm gonna kill you' look. Jake then eased up a bit and shook my hand. I could feel it shaking as our hands joined.
CC then led us to class where we all sat in a trio on the furthest table from the front, it was clear CC was trying to hook me up, but I was not having any of it. Plus he was a senior and I was a juinor. "So, Jake? If your a senior then why are you in this class? I mean you should be studying for finals, right?" he was reluctant to answer "Well.... because my parents are hippies they don't think my finals are 'neccesary' for my learning they well, they kicked off and begged for me to not do them. So they put me here until I leave."
"How come I've never seen you in school?" I laughed a bit "I tend not to stay in the main building, usually I go and eat with my buddys Ash and Jinxx."
I zoned out, he was perfect and he was shy. Just like me. I'd never felt this way about anyone before. Not even my previous boyfriend, Dan. And yes I'm talking about Dan Howell. The 2nd hottest guy in school and yet a complete geek. Jake was different to him, deeper personality and maybe a tiny bit hotter.
"Clarity? CLARITY!" CC yelled "Oh fuck, sorry. I zoned out there." In our current lesson we were learning about stupid pie charts. When will I need goddamn pie charts in my life? Oh that's right, never. Before I knew it first and second lesson had finished without a hitch. Suprising, considering by now I would have been egged or some crap like that. Maybe it was Jake, I don't even know anymore. English and science were the worst by far. My new teachers hated me and I had only known them for like an hour.
When lunch hit, I was ready to go hang out with Dan, Phil, Oli, Kellin and CC. Weird bunch. But no because Jake came over and shyly and said "Hi, Uh Clarity. CC's gonna come hang with me and the guys and I was wondering if uh, you'd come too. You seem nice, at least someone is."
"Uh yeah, but I was wondering if my friends could come?" he smiled excitedly "Yeah if you want." God that smile was so irresistable. For once in my life, I'd found someone who I had feelings for, thank fucking god for that. One thing I wondered was how long I would be able to keep quiet.
