My Legacy

Emily's POV: Christy and I head back inside the arena when the guys are about to go on stage and sit right in the middle of the crowd. No one really pays any mind to us, and when the guys come on stage, Andy leaves Christy and myself in shock.
"Hello! We are the Black Veil Brides from Hollywood, California! And tonight, we have a favor to ask of each and every one of you guys," Andy says into his mic, "There's a young woman in the crowd tonight, who's in a wheel chair. She was recently paralyzed from the waist down because of a drunk driver. Her friend is with her, and she was also in the car when this happened. Em tries to look on the bright side of things, but Christina Coma, our very own drummer's little sister, is having a difficult time with that right now. The favor I'm about to ask everyone, is this. Give them a boost. Find them! Lift them up! And make their night!"
They then fall into Perfect Weapon, when suddenly, four really big guys lift Christy, making her scream bloody murder, and I see her reach for her breaks. She locks them just in time, for more people to grab on to her chair and push her across the crowd, then it's up I go without warning.
I lose sight of Christy as I'm being slung around the crowd, and then I hear her familiar laugh, and see CC laughing at us from the stage. By the time we reach the stage, the song's over, and we're still on top of the crowd.
"Bring them up here, guys!" Andy shouts to the crowd, then Jake and Jinxx help me on stage, and Andy, Ashley, and CC pull Christy on. We all smile at one another, then Andy says, "This is Christina, and this is Emily. Tonight, I would be honored, if they would sing with us for Carolyn, but they'll need some convincing. How about it?"
The crowd roars loudly, then one of the stage tech's passes us microphones, while Andy says that we're going to alternate. He'll sing a line, then myself for the first verse, the chorus we'll all do together, then same thing for the second verse with Christy.
"Works for me," I tell him.
"Yeah, I guess," Christy says with a shrug, and I can tell she's not so sure about it, but would rather do it, than fight about it.
"Those times in life we learn to try, with one intention," Andy sings.
"Of learning how and went we'll die, but we can't listen," I sing.
"I wish to God, I'd know that I, I didn't stand a chance, of looking back and knowing why."
"Or pain of circumstance."
"You're not alone, and we'll brave this storm," we all sing together.
"So here's my song, I wrote in time, when it was needed."
"Through pain of heart or loss of mind, you're burden's lifted," Christy sings softly.
"You aren't alone, just know that I can't save our hearts tonight."
We repeat the chorus, and sing with all our hearts and souls, and during the solo, Ashley walks over to Christy and kisses her with all he's worth. I blush from simply watching it, and then it's time to sing again, so we do. All three of us, together in perfect harmony.
When the song ends though, CC gets up, walks over to me, and shocks me shitless. He smiles down at me, and kisses me, like Ashley had kissed Christy. By the end of the kiss, I'm light headed, then they help me from the stage, and the security guards help them get Christy back on the ground.
At the end of the show, Christy's and I are all smiles, and then we head back to the bus where we know we'll find the guys, as well as the rest of the bands. As we approach, we see a large fire burning in a barrel and everyone's standing or sitting around it, laughing and cracking jokes.
Once there, I can't even look at CC, because I've had such a crush on him for so long, that it's hard to do. At least, after what happened on stage. What did it mean? Was it just a kiss or did it mean something more? Am I reading too much into things?
"What's wrong?" Christy asked me, noticing that I'm not really participating in the group as I normally would.
"Nothing," I murmur back, then steal a glance at CC, who's looking at me like a lovesick puppy.
"Is it what my brother pulled on stage?" she asked in a hushed tone.
I just nod, looking down again, then hear her sigh, and she moves over to her brother's side. They talk for a few minutes, then she returns and asked, "What about it, exactly has you all worked up?"
"Just wondering if it meant something more than just a kiss," I murmur back.
She laughs out loud, then says, "Christian?"
He looks at her from across the fire, and asked, "What's up, sis?" through a mouthful of food.
"Do you like Emily?" she asked him, bluntly and I try to hide my face more, behind a veil of hair.
"Depends. How are we talking here? Friends, brother/sister, or are we talking more along the lines of a couple?" I hear him ask.
"As a couple," she says.
"Well, I love her in that case. Why do you ask?" he replies.
"Why don't you tell him, Em?" she says, nudging me.
"I-I love you, too, CC," I murmur.
"What was that?" he asked, and when I look up, it's clear he didn't hear me.
"I-I said, I...I...I love you!" I finally shout, then run inside the tour bus, feeling ridiculous.
CC's POV: Did I just hear her right? She loves me back? My heart swells, and I feel relief flow through me. So it's not just a one sided love. She loves me back!
I know I'm wearing a crazy smile on my face, but I could care less. Christina had already given me her blessing. Said it was only fair, since she's dating Ashley, who's one of my best friends. Wow. Tonight's really been insane.
