time lapse 2 weeks.......the beach (4pm)

CC throws his phone frustrated and it bounces of the blanket then into the sand. "ughhhhh!"

Ashley looks ta him, "ummmm ok?"

Jake looked at him just as confused, "what's wrong?"

CC shakes his head, " nothing....." Then he sighs.

Andy shakes his head, "yea try telling that to people who don't know you. Cuz that was a lie."

CC slumps his shoulders in defeat, "its just I've been texting her and she doesn't answer me and its driving me crazy."

Ashley looks at everyone confused, "wait..her....her who?"

Jinxx- looks at him with a small smile, "are you talking about phone swap girl?"

CC was clearly upset by there lack of forgetfulness, "yessssssss!"

Andy looks at him calmly, "well have you tried calling her? I mean you saw her phone she is
always getting bombarded by messages and stuff maybe she overlooked it."

By this point CC is ready to give up all hope, "or maybe shes got her phone back and doesn't care to talk to me anymore which is fine..."

Jinxx looked over at him very shocked, "liar!"

CC rolls his eyes, "ok its not and I dont know why its not but its not...but it should be right I mean I'm loosing my mind over this and its like nothing...right?"

Ashley rubs his arm, "CC sometimes thats how it works."

CC looks down at the sand on his feet, "how what works... being ignored.." He stands and walks to the edge of the shaded area where they're sitting.

Jake looks at the guys, "well thats how it was with Ella remember?"

CC keeps looking away from them, "that's different Jake...."

Jake looks at his back, "maybe not I mean you dont know what shes thinking maybe shes
going just as bananas as you."

CC rolls his eyes not that the guys can tell, "right..." And he walks back over and picks up his phone from the sand and holds it up. "Then why hasn't she answered not one text in 2 weeks."

Jinxx began tapping on his drink, "maybe she has a boyfriend..." Everyone gives him a dirty look. "... WHAT? she might ?"

Completely exasperated CC kicks at the sand in frustration, "uggggghhh man I didn't even think about that...."

Andy trys to perk CC up, "hey chances are she doesn't have a boyfriend i mean if she did why would she be traveling alone?"

Ashley nods in agreement, "and yea yall had each others phones but yall text till the early morning hours that wasn't like a requirement."

Jake smiles, "and neither was going to dinner or spending the entire evening together."

CC lays down on his stomach on the towel, "maybe shes just flat out not interested in me."

Jinxx tries to console him more, "or maybe she's scared I mean you are famous and well she may not be normal but she's not famous and thats intimidating."

CC looks up at him and shakes his head, "ok can we change the topic this isnt helping." The guys go back to discussing ideas for new songs and CC zones out ...

Jinxx snaps his fingers at CC, "CC.......HELLO.....???"

CC looks at him, "huh?"

Jake looks at him concerned, "damn dude where did you go?"

CC looks at him confused, "what are you talking about?"

Andy looks at hi with sad eyes, "well we were talking about the new songs and Jake asked if you'd worked on "Carrier" yet?"

CC looks down, "sort of but not really.."

Ashley looks at him worried, "is there anything we can do to help you work it out?"

CC stands up, "I dont think so....hey I'm gonna go for a walk.."

Andy- gives him a small smile, "ok we can go out for a bit."

CC shakes his head, "no...I ...uh kinda wanna go alone..I mean no offense I just need to clear my head."

Ashley looks at him worriedly, "are you sure?"

CC nods his head, "yea...I'm fine guys. I will be back and when I get back I will get to work full steam ahead promise."

Andy looks into CC eyes, "CC?"

CC looks back at him trying not avoid his eyes, "yea.."

Andy gives a sad smile, "we are here if you need us u know that right?"

CC Pov
CC gives a small fake smile, "I know.." Then CC leaves the guys without another word...Once outside CC looked up at the sunshine and took a deep calming breath it feel
amazing outside today. He pulled his sunglasses from his back pocket and began walking After about 15 minutes CC sees the sign for that new bar. Hey maybe a couple drinks will atleast dull the endless thoughts and clear his mind enough to let him get some work done *muffled rock music* and thats a great song playing he thought. He then walks through the door of Tactical and his attention is drawn to all the decoration. It's set up like a paint ball arena! There's ropes, nets, sandbags and a multitude of different paint splatters all over the tables and floors...suddenly BAM he walks into someone and they both fall to the ground.

I look down at the person that I had landed on and is suddenly left speechless.

Krista laughs, "I'm starting to think this is how you greet people."

"I....I...I'm sorry..."

"Hey if this is torture chain me to the wall however I think we should probably get up out of the floor." I lean back and offer her my hand which she takes and I help her to her feet.

Domino walks over laughing, "hey boss lady thats one way to get a man hahahaha just trip them!"

Krista starts laughing, "domino beso mi culo.."

Domino laughs and looks at CC, "can I get you something to drink?"

"Ummmmm....uh... yea a shot of jack?"

Domino smiles, "coming right up."

Krista laughs, "careful jack daniels before 5 pm might start rumors."

"I heard the reporters were hard up for material figured I throw them a bone.."

Krista looks at him and cant help but to giggle, "o so theres a method to your madness."

"There is ... I was just winging it.." I smile back at her.

Time lapse * 2 hours and A couple shots of jack later*6 pm
"Can i ask you a question?"

"Just one?" Krista giggles.

"Mmmmm I dont know yet I like to keep my options open."

"Mmmmk fire away?"

"1st whats your name? and 2nd why didnt you text me back? i mean..."

Krista touches cc's arm, "stop...my name is Krista could have sworn I told u that but due to our random messages I may not have ha....and I didnt know that you text me?"

"Yea....like almost everyday..."

"I'm so sorry I had no clue...see my phone is set to delete messages to unknown numbers...figured if I saved your number in my phone you'd think I was some creepy stalker chick.."

"So you weren't ignoring me?"

"HELL NO!!! I mean I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but if I ignored you I might be tied to public beheaded..." She smiles at me and I can help but smile.

I instantly start to laugh, "whatever..."

"Mmmmhmmm," she leans closer to me and whispers, "then why are you laughing..."

"Touche'..." I lean in closer to krista and whisper back, "soooo seems to me you have some apologizing to do.."

"Oh I do??"

"Mmmhmmmm...."

"How do you figure?"

"Simple..you ignored me."

"Ohhhhhh.... ok so how can i make it up to you?"

I lean in and kiss Krista on the lips.

"Hmmm bet you do that to make all the girls swoon..."

"Nope just you."

"Mmmm bet you say that to all the girls."

I growl playfully at her and kiss her again."

Time lapse *5 hours later* 11 pm

Krista pulls into the driveway heart pounding and mind racing and sitting in the car with the engine idling. *internal conversation* Girl what are you doing? This is INSANE!!!! * She kills the engine (being bitched out by your conscience PRICELESS) and opens the door and gets out. With her legs shaking and fighting to maintain her composure she walks up onto the porch as CC unlocks the front door and turns on the light...

Time lapse 6 hours later 5 am
Krista wakes up groggily in CC's arms a sinking feeling settles in to her gut as the realization of being a 1 night stand sets in. She gently slips out of bed and retreats to the bathroom she looks in the mirror at her disheveled appearence *internal pep talk* Ok chick do not I repeat do not make this more than it is...it was just sex..just another one night stand for him so keep your heart out of it now go get your clothes, get dressed and go home!!* Krista exits the bathroom and sneaks back across the bedroom gathering clothes as she finds them suddenly CC sits up..

CC groggily looks up at her puzzled, "what are you doing?"

"Leaving??"

"Why?"

"Ummm cause thats how it works?

"How what works?"

"It's morning......" This isn't good why is he making this so hard he's probably so used and hes probably just wanting me to leave as well. I can't believe I fell so hard..

CC crawls out of bed and walks towards Krista wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her. "But I dont want you to go."

"I bet you say that to all the girls." How could I be so stupid...

CC sighs, "woman....you are gonna drive me insane ya know that.."

"Oh dont worry its a short trip" I I try to laugh it off.

CC gasps and picks her up..I squeals in suprise as CC picks me up and throws me on the bed and then crawls up the bed toward me...he lays down kissing me and then tickles me
mercilessly....I laugh and wiggle but cant get free...I begs CC to stop tickling me in between me giggles and failed attempts to escape...

"I will stop on one condition."

"Name it." I was still giggling.

"You cant say "i bet you say/do that to all the girls" anymore.."

"I bet you say that to all the girls.." I giggle and CC growls playfully and continues to tickle me. I twist, wiggle, and keep giggling and trying to find an escape. CC adjusts and is just a
inch to low and quick as cat I'm free.

I stick out my tongue, "now what cha gonna do?"

"you better put that thing away."

"Or what?"

"That's it ... it is so on," cc starts crawling to the edge of the bed as I take off running down the hallway...CC chases me laughing as we enter the kitchen with me on one end of the island and CC on the other. I lean left so does CC. I lean right so does CC. I quickly bob back and forth and then I bolt for the living room CC reaches out and catches me around the waist....

"Got cha!"

"Uh oh."

"Yep that's one way to describe it..." He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder and heads back to the bedroom....."and just for clarification this is a whole lot more than a one night stand."

"Mmhmmm i bet....." CC slaps her on the butt. "OUCH!"

"If you finish that sentence I will do everything in my power to make sure you will NOT be able to talk for a week."

"You say that to all the girls...CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!"
