Sanctuary

The plane ride back home was quiet. Somber but happy. Andy and I came back with a child. Her name is Ruby. She's 12 years old. She has the most gorgeous brown hair and the cutest bangs that come down to her eyebrows. She has bright green eyes, she'll make a great fifth sister. Again coming home with a new Bralow.
I thought of Sara.
I thought of Mary.
I thought of Karolina.
I thought of Ruby.
I thought of my mother.
They're safe.
We've kept our family safe.
And that's the greatest accomplishment.
The Birdcage is gone. For good. When I blew up the building, that building stored all information. We destroyed their notes, and scared them off with a Cathedral handprint.
I was the sturdy, calm caretaker again. Mostly. I ran through my mind what I had said to civilians that got in my way on this mission.

You move or make a noise, I will end you.

That still rings to be true. I will do anything to keep humanity safe.

I am indestructible.
