Jade's P.O.V
I felt a lump in my throat I tried to swallow it away, I clicked answer and held it up to my ear, " hello?" I managed to say. " Jade, I know where you went, and i'm going to find you, you're coming back to Canada whether you want to or not and you're never fucking leaving, you're such a fucking brat, thinking you can leave me without my permission, I know you're in California im going to fucking find you and whoever you're with is going to suffer, now if you don't come back im going to go there myself you fucking rotten child " I tried to blink back my tears since I was in a mall in L.A " NO!" I yelled getting weird glances from practically everyone, " I'm not fucking coming back home, I'm going to be 18 in 2 fucking days you asshole " I smiled at the fact that I've never told him off before, and I continued " You'll never find me, because i'm not even in California, I'm somewhere you'll never find me, and I'm not with anyone, i'm all alone where no one will find me, I'm never speaking to you again because in 2 days i'm going to be a legal adult and I won't need you, I don't even need you now.. Goodbye Mike " I said hanging up the phone. With tears of fear and joy, I knew he would find me, but I had to tell him off, he deserved that, now I need to make sure Ella and the guys are safe.. I'm going to have to leave them sooner than I thought.. Just as I turned around Ella was walking up to me but she didn't say anything about the tears in my eyes so I quickly wiped them away and we continued walking to Hot Topic. We got a lot of stuff maybe about 15 band tee-shirts 7 pairs of jeans several bracelets some adventure time stuff and a skull shirt. We walked out with our bags and walked back to the car. " this is all we needed for tonight Ella?" I asked her putting the bags in the backseat, " Yep we're going back to Andy's to hang out for a while and then we'll get ready for your surprise, but first I want to get Jake a pizza" We both laughed while getting into the car
Andy's P.O.V
Jake, Ashley and CC were all talking about something I wasn't really paying attention about, I was just thinking of Jade, do I like her? I don't know if I do, or if I just feel protective over her because of everything that happened to her and because she never really had anyone. I wish I could talk to someone but it's all too new, she just got here yesterday, maybe I should wait until tonight, or in a few days. The sound of the door opening escaped me out of my thoughts " We're back " Ella yelled " And we have something for Jake " Jade said laughing. Her laugh was like silk and made the whole room calm, Jake's eyes widened and he got up and ran over to Ella " PIZZZZAA! " Jake yelled. All of us laughed. Ella and Jade walked into the living room, Ella sat on Jake's lap and Jade sat beside CC and Ashley on the couch while she looked at her feet. She looked so sad I just wanted to hold her " Jade " I said looking at her worriedly " mhmm " she said glancing at me quickly " can we talk for a minute? " I asked her. She got up and I did too we walked upstairs into her room and I closed the door. " kiddo what's up, and don't lie to me, tell me what happened.. " She sighed so I sat on the bed and hugged her waiting for her to tell me. " my dad.. " I got angry " what about him " I said with rage " he called me when I was at the mall " " What did he say? " I asked her looking into her brown eyes. She took a deep breath and tried to calm a little bit, after a moment she began " He told me he knew where I went and he was going to find me, that I was going back to Canada whether i wanted to or not and that i was never leaving, that I was such a fucking brat, thinking i could leave without his permission, he knew I was in California and that hes going to find me and whoever im with is going to suffer, and if don't come back hes going to come here himself and then he called me a rotten child " she told me crying and hugging me, I hugged her tighter and said " Jade, no one is going to hurt you, especially him, he's not going to ever hurt you again I promise you " She started crying more " but he will hurt you and I don't want to see you hurt, he's very aggressive and he won't stop until he gets his way Andy you're in danger " She said to me " no im not and neither are you as long as you stay here, but you have to promise me not to leave, I cant protect you if you're not here " she stopped crying a little bit and nodded she looked up at me and I hugged her again. " Andy can I sleep until I have to get ready tonight ?" I nodded " yes you can " I said getting up " WAIT!" I turned around, "what?" she looked at me upset " can you stay with me again ?" she looked down ashamed " of course I will I said laying down next to her, within minutes she had fallen asleep and I watched her as she slept so peacefully as though nothing could hurt her anymore, and that's when I realized .. I do like her
