authors note: hey guys Ive done allot of thinking on how i want to display calla's band the average failure.. and sense i personally do not write music or sing i still want u to have that visual!! soo for callas band her sound is basically We are the in crowd...with one call atlantis song.. in the story she wrote the song and her bands own then.. BUT ONLY IN THE STORY!! this is a fiction story and i only did this so u can get a true visual
Calla's pov!
Laying on my bed listening to black veil brides -my favorite band sense sophomore year when i saw the knives and pens video- i started to feel relaxed.. i hate to fight with my parents when I'm getting ready to move out..but they did me wrong.. so i cant be helped.. i just felt so betrayed that they would keep this from me..
i also couldn't shake the feeling of need...
i need to meet my real brother.. i need to find out the family comes from.. i need to figure out why they gave me away and why it was my brother trying to contact me.. not my parents..
god this is so stressful!! i need to stop thinking about this! breathe calla just listen to Andy's deep soothing voice singing about how everything will be okay.. the pounding rhythm off cc's drumming.. the beautiful melody of jinxx and jakes guitar playing and ashley keep it all in tune with him base.. some may think its weird that i describe rocck music like this but to me.. rock music is soothing.. its the kind of music that lets all your anger out just by listening to it.. the thrashing, the screaming, the lyrical content, the insane guitar solos..it replasis my anger with a sense of belonging.. i love it.
as i listen to the last cords of knifes and pen i start to fall asleep.. dreaming about the day i will meet my brother.. i wonder if he like rock music as much as i do?
---two weeks later June 27 day of calla's band (the average failure) concert---
Calla POV
I poked my head out the door at the crowd.. My band has its usual group.. I'm proud to saw my band already has a large fan base.. 700 twitter followers and 500 likes on Facebook... Looking out I see about 200 people wearing our band shirts that we spent three weeks making trying to promote out band...
But looking closer 5 men sitting in the VIP area caught my eye.. And I almost had a heart attack when I realized who they were... "HOLY SHIT!!" I screamed make I few heads by the front look at the stage confused... I ran to the room where my band mates where getting ready as fast as I possible could.
Once I entered the room. Kyle my bass player stood up in alarm
"calla?whats the matter?" He asked sounding worried..
"Nothing!! Fucking nothing is wrong!!!" I said shaking with excitement
"Then why did u run in here like the hounds of fucking hell were chasing u??" Chance asked looking really confused and interested
"Because" I looked at my band mates unable to contain my excitement anymore "guess who's here??" I asked.. Or squealed really.. I tend to squeak and squeal when I'm excited/happy
"Who?" Asked Jared
"BLACK VEIL FUCKING BRIDES THAT'S WHO!!!!!!"
silence...
"wh-what?!" stuttered kyle a shocked look on his face
"uh-huh!! bvb is here!! i just saw them in the VIP section sitting down!!"
"are u fucking serious!!" screamed Jared a huge smile on his face
"YES" i was jumping up and down now squealing in excitement with the rest of my band mates Jared (drummer), Kyle (bassist), chance (1st guitar), jace (2nd guitar).. we all love black veil brides, they were actually the ones who gave us that push to stride towards our dreams.. and work like hell to make them reality.. and tonight.. we are gonna live a few dreams..
-3 hours later and average failure is getting on stage-
"give it up for the average failure!!!!" announced nick major from the opening band before us then gave us a thumbs up as we entered the stage..
getting on the stage i always feel this rush of fear.. like stage fright.. but that always disappears once sink into the high of performing weather its in front off 200 people or 2000.. i still love the feeling..
"hello Reno Nevada!! we are the average failure!" i herd a bunch of cheering and i looked over to the VIP area to see bvb cheering also.. it brought a huge smile to my face.. I'm still wondering why in the hell they are here but i don't care at the moment!! never look a gift horse in the mouth right??
i scanned the crowd looking for anyone who could be my brother looking at every face.. but i guess i would know till after the show..
"i want to make a quick announcement before we begin..i found a letter the other day.. one that i wasn't suppose to find.. it was from someone i believe could end up a very important person in my life.. problem is i have no clue who they are.. so i sent a letter back tell him to come here today!! so if you are that person meet me back stage after the show please!! i would really love to meet you if you are here!! and this concert goes to you mystery person" i wink at the crowd and give them a full smile "now that we are done with the talking.. lets get to the fucking music!! this one is call past regrets and future threats!!"
we perform the song and some of the most dedicated fans sing along... i have a blast giving it my all and sang more to the black veil brides then anything else.. i didn't announce them because i didn't want to cause a commotion from those who knew the band and were fans..
-calla's brother POV---
i listened to the girl who is apparently my sister talk to the fans on stage telling about the "mystery person" to go back stage after the show to meet her.. cc on my left bumped my shoulder
"think the mystery person is you?"
it must be i mean.. she looks like the same person in all the picture shes sent me.. and she the only girl in the band.. so that has to be my little sister.. and i must be the mystery person.."
"look! shes smile at us! ha ha i think she noticed us" said jinxx laughing the rest of the guys laughed also at hope excited she look as well as the rest of the band
" they must be fans' i said with a smile
"well if she is then she is in for the surprise of her life" replied cc
after that her band started to play.. they were amazing and her voice was so beautiful..she kept coming over to our side of the stage and sing her little heart out to us.. it was kinda cute.. in a little sister way of course.. i felt a sense of pride knowing that my sister had so much talent..
"well we know one thing you guys are definitely related.. she is amazing!! and her band is sick!" said cc as if reading my thoughts
i just nodded.. not wanting to take my eyes of my little sister
