Dear brother,
i don't know you name but mine is Calla.. but you already know that.. in case you where wondering.. no my mom didn't tell me about you.. nor did my father... i found a letter my mother was going to send you.. and found out the truth.. i would really love to meet you and learn about where i came from.. if you would like to meet me.. my band is performing at the underground in 2 weeks.. the 27 of June.. doors open at 7 its free to come in sense we are just a local band.. the band is called the average failure

I re-read the letter three times before i finally folded it up and put it in the envelope. I looked at the address on my arm and copied it down on the front of the envelope.
poking my head out of my bed room door i look left and right to make sure no one was there. When i was sure the coast was clear i ran across the street to my friend cosi's house and put the letter in her mail box.. i knew she wouldn't mind.
"calla?" i herd my mom yell and jumped out of my skin. i turn and saw my mother in the door way
"over here!" i replied voice shook a bit.. it was kinda hard to look at her for minute.. because all i could think about was.. she isn't my birth mom..
"what are u doing over there?"
"um.. cosi text me asking if i could check her mail for her.. she is waiting for her acceptance letter to Julliard!" i replied in a rush saying the first lie that popped in my head.. it made sense.. cosi is the most beautiful piano player I've seen..
"did she get it?" my mother asked believing the lie
i sighed in relief "no, nothing yet"
"that's to bad, come inside your father and i want to take you out to dinner so we can say goodbye."
"okay!"
sorry its kinda short :P i wanted to get this chapter done before i had to start baby sitting XD hope your enjoying it so far<3
