Chloes POV

When I arrived at the castle.It was already nightfall.It was raining very hard, the sky was black and thunder had errupted.The temperature had plummeted and it was freezing.I shivered as I wrapped my hooded robe around me further.All alone with just a suitcase in hand.I went and gingererly knocked on the door dreading what was awaiting me.I suddenly heard footsteps and whispering. The door opened to reveal an old women, a servant.The women who introduced herself as May she smiled and then spoke, " Ahh you must be Miss Alves, Master and Mistress Purdy have been expecting your arrival, come in dear out of the rain.I smiled weakly and entered into a very fine hall way all candle lit.May led me to upstairs to a back door.As she hurriedly knocked and scurried away.The door opened revealing two men, laughing and joking. Both of the men had long black hair and both seemed tanned from what I could make out it was dark and hard to see.They looked similar but were different ages, if I didnt know any right I would say they were father and son.They both turned to me suddenly and smiled. The man who was sitting down turned me after staring me out "oh you must be Miss Alves, remembering what my mother had said."you belong to these people know Chloe you will be good and obey them. I smiled and bowed to the men "yes sir", The older man who introduced himself as Master Purdy replied Good Good, and you are welcome He then went onto introduce the man standing beside him because it was so dark.I slowly studied his face absorbing his fine features.His appearance took my breath away.I had never seen a man like that of that statue before.His eyes were gleaming, a dark brown like chocolate. His long raven black hair was worn down but straight.He wore pale make up on his face but when you looked at the rest of him he was tanned, his hands, neck.He turned and smiled after he noticed me eyeing him, his white teeth were perfect, he was perfect if that was possble and I had only just met him.I squirmed as his eyes locked with mine.I swear it was like he was staring right into my soul and wouldnt surprised me if he knew every thought in my head.I would have easily melted there and then.Suddenly master purdy interrupted my thought's " Yes Miss Alves this is my son Ashley. Ashley put his hand out "it's nice to meet you.As his hand touched mine, I felt this weird electricity like a current going through me sending a shiver down my spine. Again Master purdy (Ashleys dad), "May", "Take Miss Alves to the kitchen, make sure she is given warm clothes and something to eat and is shown to her room. As I was about to leave. Master Purdy turned to me "oh Miss Alves, while you work here you will obey and do everything that myself, my wife and our son tell you.If you see or hear anything that maybe be out of turn you will say nothing like you never heard it, Understand? , "yes sir. I bowed to the two men and left the room.May appeared and took me to the kitchen to change and to show me to my room, to be shown my duties.As we were walking to my room she turned and said, "I hope you will be happy here Miss Alves.I appreciated her kind words but inside of me, part of me was like you dont belong here.How I wished I was back at home in my room

Ashleys POV

I stretched out in my four poster bed, looking out of my bedroom window.The sky had turned black and there was thunder and lightening. The woman I had invited back to my room had just left.I would need to get ready soon as Andy, Jake Jinxx and CC would be over.Andy wanted to speak to me about Penelope. I liked her as a friend, but thats it.There was no way I was in love with her.Andy was my best friend ,and I didnt want to upset or spoil our friendship but on this one occasion. I just wished he understood. I didnt want to upset him either as that was his sister .Father had a new slave/servant coming over, apparently she was young innocent pure. Stop it Ashley I thought to myself.Shes a servant.I relectantly climbed out of bed washed and dressed in my smart dress.Father had also wanted to talk to about Penelope.After I had finished and dressed.I rolled my eyes as my way to my father sitting at his desk in the study. "Oh Ashley im glad you are here we need to talk about Penelope.You know I cant marry her father I dont love her and when I do marry I want it to be special with someone I love. My father interrupted me "cmon Ash, you know yourself you need a wife, an heir a grandchild for me and your mother. All these random women you bring back here and to your bed just wont do.Ashley after hearing this desperately tried to change the subject. "Ahh father did I tell you the other day Andy was being chased by a wasp nest had me and the others in stitches .As Ashley and his father were laughing the door suddenly opened to show May the 90 year old maid and with her was the new servant Chloe, Miss Alves.Ash as well couldnt quite see her as it was dark they only had candle light in the room. As his father was talking Ash just stared at this new women in front of him. He suddenly moved towards the light he could see this woman more clearly.Ashley as he was surveying her that she had to be most beautiful thing he had ever seen.They were right she was pure.She looked it with the pale skin, blue eyes and full lips.Thoughts suddenly appeared inside. "All the things I could do to her" , Stop it Ash as he was staring at her she was looking at him he felt her stare into his soul.Her touch of her hand so soft, so imnocent sent butterflies rushing through him.As I spoke "Miss Alves its nice to meet you" She then smiled back at me showing her perfect white teeth. Then my father knowing my thoughts called May our old maid. "Come here please and show Chloe whats what "Chloe, Ash thought about her name "I like it" and smiled to himself.As soon as they had departed and the coast was clear Master dylan looked back at his son and read his mind, he was like just Ash before he had met his mother a womanizer "spoke, Dont even think about it Ash you are promised to Penelope and shes just a servant not a conquest Ash. Ashley turned to his father surprisingly found himself feeling angry, resentful at his father. Thinking to himself" If I want Chloe then I will have her. -servant or no servant at any cost .and if I dont want to marry Penelope then I won't he left his fathers room with those thoughts
