The sun beamed inside my room, waking me up from my slumber. I turned and gazed at the alarm clock, staring back me at me.It read 11am. That cant be right I shot up again studying it for the 2nd time yep defiantly 11am. I inwardly groaned my mom and dad never let me sleep in this late. Maybe until 9am on those rare and special occasions Hmm something was amiss. I slow got up and stretched putting on my robe in the process. I slowly walked out of my bedroom down the long dark creaking stair case. We were quite poor and lived in a small house more like a shed. I slowly wandered into the kitchen. My mom and dad were sitting at the table whispering. What is going on I thought to myself.They bolted apart when they noticed me.My mom was the first to notice me.
"Chloe Darling come and sit down". My mom tries to act posh. I suppose it is to maintain as much dignity as possible. We were far from posh, the complete polar opposite infact. We were quite poor and had to live by our means. My mom continued. "There is something that me and your father need to tell you.My face suddenly paled losing most of its colour waiting in anticipation on what she had to say.
"You are of the age now Chloe Dear that you have to look after yourself.Me and your father wont be here forever. Your father has met up with Master Dylan of Purdy Castle and he has agreed to give you not just a job but a home as well.You will start immediately, you will be allowed to come home once a week, a sunday,

End of chapter sorry using my tablet continuing. .You will be allowed to come home once a week, usually a sunday. But Chloe you have to be gracious and serve you belong to these people know. You have to follow orders and be respectful, They have been good enough to give you this. Chloe knew even though heart breaking it was to leave her parents behind.This was something she had to do.She looked up at her mother and slowly nodded her head with tears threatening to fall. Her mother smiled kissed her cheek and looked at Chloe with of a look to reasure her she turned and walked up to her room to pack to begin her new life.
