Chapter 8 – Part 2
CC POV

“That she felt unwanted because you left all those years ago. And she was wanting to reconnect with an ex, but he refused because you were pissed the last time they were together.” Micah explained.
Ashley's face went from sadness to anger, as he broke from my hold.

He ran over to Andy, knocked him to the ground, and started punching him again.

It took me, Jake, and a male nurse to pry him off of Andy.

“I swear if something happens to her, it will be the end of you!” Ashley threatened Andy, while we were holding him back.

Two other nurses came over, and took Andy to get checked out.

I left Ashley with Jake & Micah, to follow Andy.

The nurses assigned to Andy helped him onto the CAT-Scan machine. I waited outside the room until they were done.

Unwanted? Reconnect with an ex? These questions still lingered in my mind, when Andy & the two nurses came out.

“Mr. Biersack has a broken jaw, broken nose, and a hairline fracture in his left wrist.” Head Nurse Costello informed me as we entered Andy's hospital room.

Assistant Nurse Henderson carefully helped Andy onto the bed.

“ 'ell Asle I orry.**” A very broken Andy told me.

“OK, buddy. I will, just get some rest.” I said, as I walked out of the room, after he got settled.

When I found my way back to Ashley, Jake, & Micah, I was not prepared for what I saw: Ashley on the floor bawling his eyes out, and Jake & Micah with tear-stained faces, trying to console him.

“It's going to be ok without her, Ashley.” I heard a weeping Jake console Ashley.

Without her?!?!?

“What happened?” I asked, walking over to them.

I braced myself for the worst.
