THREE DAYS LATER

The show was in a week and I was totally stoked!

Andy had already called me eight times today. He was asking who I was bringing to the concert, I think he might have figured that I was bringing a boy, and just to annoy me, he rang once during class, not a text, not a voice-mail, he had to fucking ring me.

And just for that, I received a lecture on top of a lecture for having a mobile phone in class.

CC was in that class, and he was silently mocking me I swear to god.

CC had quickly moved up the ‘friendship ranks’ from and acquaintance, to a friend, to a good friend, to a best friend.

He was someone I could tell my life story and he would sit and listen and he would just politely wait until I had finished. And that was exactly what I liked about him. He wouldn’t judge me whatever I said.

And he always had a knack of making me laugh as well. Just one word could send me doubled over laughing. He always made me feel happy when I was sad or missing my family, and he was very sweet about it too.

When we were walking home he asks me something completely out of the blue

"Yo Viv"

"Mm"

"I need a place to crash; can I stay at your place?"

I was completely taken by surprise "sure, but why?"

"Oh, my landlord kicked me out" he says calmly and placidly.

I hastily agree that he can stay at my place
