Life of Dakota

*Dakota's POV*

"Arghh!" I moaned as i was attacked by the brightness. I opened eyes as i could still see the bright sunshine. "Not a morning person, i see" said a deep voice. It sounded as if they were trying to hold in their laughter. Andy... Or my foster dad i should say. I giggled. "Get your lazy ass up and get ready. The guys are coming over at 10." Said Andy in a cheerful voice. Guessing he's trying to get me in a cheery mood? "Okay." I said trying to sound happy. No i wasn't happy at all. I was so damn grumpy! It. It's... 8:07?! Jeez so early! I've got just under two hours to get ready! "I'll go make breakfast." Andy said smiling. I nodded then walked up the stairs to brush my teeth and get ready and put my make up on. I decided to go for a thin layer of eyeliner and wear my black skinny jeans with the black veil brides hoody, i recently bought. For my hair, i just teased it a little. Hmm... Looks like my hair needs to be recoloured i thought to my self.

As i walked out of the room, i smelled a sweet aroma filling my nostrils. Mmmm... Pancakes. I ran down the stairs to find a plate of freshly made pancakes at the table. Andy was already scoffing his down. I walked over to the table and sprinkle some sugar with lemon juice (my favourite!) then scoffed that down and 3 more! Yes, i was hungry! "Give it a 10/10 then?" He smirked. "Yeah! It's delicious!" I cheered. He grinned then took the plates away to wash them up. As soon as he was finished he asked me what i wanted to do for the next hour. I decided to watch Batman as it was mine and Andy's favourite. He cheered like a little child... More of a brotherly type than a fatherly type. I guess he is still young... At 23! I laughed. "What are you laughing at?" Andy asked confused. "Nothing." I said as innocently as possible, then switched on the movie.
