Life of Dakota

*One week later- Dakota's POV*

It's been a week since Andy told me he was considering fostering me and take me on as his own. I've never felt this happy in months. Today was the day i was officially moving jnto Andy's place- Yup, Andy said he would be happy to, and he also got Juliet to consider it- She didnt even mind. My ex foster parents were put in jail for 8 years for child abuse and Shelby was sent to jail for 6 years!

Juliet wasn't coming back for another two weeks, which meant me and Andy, my new foster dad, could spend some time and maybe i could meet the rest of the 'gang'. Gosh it was going to be a fun week! We still needed to paint my new room and unpack everything!

***TIME LAPSE***

"So what do you want to do today kiddo?" Asked Andy with a smile. "I don't know..." I said unsure. "Do ya want to go to the mall? Furniture store? DIY store?" He said with a huge grin. "DIY store? Furniture store what do ya mean?" I asked confused. "To but your new bed and bits and bobs of course! And some paint to paint your new room. I'll buy anything you like!" He said excitedly. I thought about it for a second. "Okay but can we go to the mall after?" I replied, whilst putting my leather jacket on. "Yeah sure!" He said whilst rummaging through through his things... Probably looking for his car keys?

After 5 minutes has passed 'dad' had finally found the keys! "Lets go!" He said in an enthusiastic tone. And we headed through the door and go inside his Black Mercedes. Then we drove off to the DIY store and the Furniture store.
