Daddy's Little Girl

Christina's P.O.V

Once we got home, we cleaned and took Aurora to her bedroom and to be honest, I'm glad Angie is finally locked up. While Andy was at his office, I decided to go and check on my daughter. She wasn't sleeping but she was quiet sucking on her pacifier. I smiled and grabbed her.
"I'll change you, baby", I said as I placed her in the changing table and looked through her closet for her pj's. I changed her (Aurora's Outfit) and kissed her forehead. "No one is going to hurt you from now and on, baby". I sat in the rocking chair and sang to her, I don't know if it makes her feel better but it makes me feel better. Andy walked in and looked at me.
"How you're feeling?"
"I don't know how to feel..."
He sighed, "I won't let something like this happen again, I promise"
"I can't with this, anymore...", I said as I placed Aurora back in her crib.
He hugged me from behind, "Honey, you need to calm down and get over this"
"Get over this?", I said as I faced him. "You're asking me to let this behind?! She almost kills my daughter!"
"I know, baby but I don't want you to live with this..."
"I will, because my daughter means everything to me and that she almost dies will make me realize there's a lot of people that want to hurt me and her...and I'm not going to let that happen"
"I know, honey but let me handle this..."
I sighed, "I will"
"Trust me on this one...I won't let you get hurt after this"
I don't want to depend on Andy for our daughter's security, since I know how busy he is with new album, shooting, interviews and lots of other things...I don't want him to worry, but if something I'm sure of is that those were the only 2 people I know that wanted to hurt me...Juliet and her sister. I'm glad they're finally in prison, both for attempted murder. Now, I feel I'm safe and I'm glad I have Andy next to me.
"Jake says we should spend Christmas at his lake house"
"I don't think we should get out of the house after this"
"Honey, you need to clear your mind, take a deep breath and leave all this behind"
I sighed, "You're right and there's nothing better than being with the family to forget about this"
He kissed my forehead, "We're leaving next week"
I smiled, "I'm glad we're spending time together"
"I'll see if Logan wants to come"
"You guys stopped talking, though"
"Our relationship is complicated"
"And I know why"
He sighed, "I know you do"
NEXT WEEK
I made sure I packed Aurora's things...this is her first family trip and I love to spoil my daughter. I made sure I had her bottle, diapers and pacifiers in hand. Once I finished changing her, I kissed her forehead and picked her up.
"It's time to go baby girl", I said as I grabbed the diaper bag, got out the room and down the stairs to join the family.
"Ready?", dad asked.
"Ready"
"This is going to be the best Christmas ever, I can assure that", Jake said.
"Aurora's first Christmas", Ash said.
I smiled, "Yeah"
"She's so cute...can I hold her?", Ash asked as he walked towards me.
I nodded as he grabbed her. She started to cry and extended her arms towards her father.
"Well, someone hates me", he said as Andy grabbed her.
"No, she doesn't...she's just an unsocial baby", Amy said.
"Is that normal?", CC asked.
"She's just used to be with her parents"
I walked towards my husband and kissed my daughter's cheek, "And she's always going to be with us"
"She's such a cutie!", Chris said.
"She is", Andy said.
"Shouldn't we be on the road, already?", Sammi asked.
"Sammi's right", Ella said.
"Let's go, then", Jake said as he stood up and we all walked out. Lava let us use the tour bus and we promised it wasn't going to be mess, like the guys leave it when they go on tour. Plus, Sammi, Ella, Amy and me won't let them mess around. I really don't know if taking Aurora's carseat is necessary but I want my baby to be safe, so I'm taking it and I'm taking her bassinet too.
~TIME LAPSE~
The guys were asleep, except for dad and Chris...and we were watching tv, while I was feeding Aurora. Everyone was silent, except for my daughter's gurgles while I was burping her.
"Christie, we need to talk", dad said.
I looked up at him, "Talk about what?"
"It's complicated", Amy said.
"You guys are scaring me"
"Is not for you to worry, is for your own good", Sammi said.
"Go straight to the point"
"We think Andy and you should be away from each other for a certain amount of time...", Amy said.
"You guys think what?", Andy asked he got in.
"You want me to leave my husband?", I asked.
"Are you guys out of your mind?", he asked as he sat next to me and wrapped his arms around me and Aurora.
"This is more for Christina's security than yours", dad said.
"You want me to leave my wife's side and my daughter? You got to be kidding me"
"I told you this was stupid", Chris said.
"Why this?", I asked.
"We don't know what's going to happen next and who knows if you're safe", Ella said.
I shook my head, "I'm not leaving my husband's side"
"And I'm not leaving my wife", Andy said.
"You guys need to be together, like the couple you are and I'm sure Andy can take care of his family even if he can't stop things from happening", Chris said as he stood up and walked towards the bunks area.
"Dad's right and you guys need to understand that", my husband said.
I think it's useless that they try to keep us away from each other...they were when we got married and after all this things we need to stick together and build up a wall, because we can't let anything get between us.
"How's our princess?", Andy asked as he grabbed her hand.
"She's enjoying the trip, I guess", I said as I looked down at her.
He kissed her temple, "Beautiful"
"What about me?"
"You're gorgeous", he said as he kissed me.
"You guys are so cute", Sammi said.
"We wouldn't be cute if you guys make us stay away from each other"
"Is not that we don't want you together, Andy...I care for my daughter's and granddaughter's security and you're not helping"
"I won't be able to protect them if they're not with me"
"I can't with this anymore", I said as I stood up and walked towards the bunks area. I lie down and placed my daughter in my chest, so she can hear my heartbeat as I rubbed her back, "I love you dad, princess and I love him so much...I hope one day we can renew our vows"
"I hope we can renew our vows too", he said as he got in bed with us.
"Do you think things will get better?", I asked.
"They will and I'm going to make sure they do"
I smiled, "Look at her"
He looked down at her and smiled, "She brought happiness to our marriage"
"She did..."
"Our beautiful treasure"
"I can't wait for her to turn one, start to walk, her first word...", I said.
"Don't rush her...she's just 2 months"
I chuckled, "I know, Andrew"
2 HOURS LATER
We arrived to the lake house and we started to prepare everything...we got the Christmas three, we cleaned a little and we went to cook dinner. While we were in all that, the guys were looking after Aurora...I'm still wondering if I'm totally safe, if my daughter is totally safe. Amy said she was going to do her amazing chocolate cake and it is amazing! The last time I got to taste one of her cakes was when I turned 18...
"I think you should check on Aurora", Sammi said.
"Why? What happened?", I asked.
"Check it out", she said.
I walked towards the living room to find Aurora bursting into laughter, "Guys, don't make her laugh a lot...you'll make her tummy hurt"
"But her laughter is cute", CC said.
"I know but my daughter's health is before anything"
"We won't make her laugh, anymore", Andy said.
"I hope...I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything, okay?", I said as I walked towards the kitchen to help Amy, Ella and Sammi out. "I told them not to make her laugh, anymore..."
"But she's so cute when she laughs", Sammi said.
"I know she's cute but she can't be laughing like that"
"Christie is right...Andy used to be a very happy baby and he laughed a lot and after that he couldn't eat anything because he had a tummy ache"
I chuckled, "And he's happy now"
"Because you make him happy", Ella said.
"Yeah, I make him happy but he makes me happier"
Amy smiled, "That's what marriage is about"
"Is about caring for each other", Ella said.
"Is about trust and love", Sammi said.
I smiled, "Yeah"
Married life is the most amazing thing ever...even when we argue, we know we love each other and we can get over a lot of things just because of that love. I promised I was going to be with him though ups and downs and I'm going to keep that promise. I'm always going to keep my promise.
