Ashley's POV

I heard Megans answer and smiled as I walked into the bunk room and stood for a bit hearing her next comment made me chuckle a bit, "So your not gonna try to kiss me or make me go out with you?" She asked me with a worried look, for a moment I was tempted to go over and lift her chin to my level, but I knew she would hate me for it. So I stood there replying to her worried comment, "No, cause..I think I know who you are..I think you were a part of my past." was all I could say, not wanting to scare her about the fact that I knew her from some where. I then sat down on the bunk putting my cowboy hat on the edge of it. "Oh.." She said to me her eyes finding the floor once again, I kept my eyes on my shoes as I said the next thing, "Well..the only reason I would know was because of your tattoo, I had a girl that I really liked once, that I took to get that on her last night of being a senior, and before I left to start in this band." I knew that she wasn't the girl, but I had to ask, I wanted to know if she was the girl that I nick named my butterfly. "Oh well, I got it with my best friend when I was in the last year of my senior life at High school, I really liked him but he was dating a girl named Jocelyn, he was my outlaw and he left me." The simple words she spoke made my eyes go wide, and to make her look up at me as I began to trace over the letters butterfly that I had gotten after the girl had gotten her tattoo, I loved the way they curved and stopped at the end, just like how our relationship did. I got lost in the tattoo on my arm as she spoke my name, "Ashley.." the way she said my name made me melt under my own skin, made me want to grab her and kiss her just like I used to, well she was drunk that night and I doubted that she would remember anything.

I looked up, "Hmm?" as her eyes went back to the floor, and she quickly changed the subject making me even more sad at the fact that there was no way she was going to ever let me in and tell her. "What bass do you want to use tomorrow, my boss wants me to ask everyday, i'm supposed to help you with that." She said to me, my hopes dropped even more as I saw the distant look in her eyes, I stood up slowly and walked over to the door putting my hand on it, "Oh, I'll decide tomorrow." I shut the door behind me knowing that she'd want to go to sleep, and I might as well, but I wasn't in the mood to have to turn around while she was changing and to see my butterfly in the bunk sleeping like an angel. I turned around after about five minutes of standing around and went back to the bunk opening the door slowly and then getting undressed to the point where I was just in my boxers. Then I climbed into my bunk and fell asleep.


Back to Megans POV

I woke up early, not sure if I needed to get everything set for today, or if they wanted me to get as much sleep as I wanted. So I decided to search around for the basses and pick one out that I knew Ashley would love, the porn one that took hours to paint and print. I pulled the box out and carefully unwrapped it trying not to look at the many photos of naked girls and the word porn that had always made me cringe, I held it carefully in my arms and walked back into the bunk room carefully making sure I didn't wake the black haired male. I set the bass on one of his stands and smiled as I rummaged around for a sticky note and a sharpie, once I found them I quickly wrote.

and stuck it on the bass smiling as I looked at him, happily asleep. I slipped into my skinnies and a sweater and walked out tying my hair into a bun, then seeing CC and Andy, Andy was on the phone with someone who sounded very close to him because every now and then he would say ,"Love you my dragonfly." I smiled and wave at CC whom seemed very bored with how long Andy's phone call was taking. "Morning Megan." He said walking over to me with a sleepy look, "Morning CC." I said with a smile at the male, "Your not going to wear that to the concert are you?" He asked me pointing to the sweater and the pair of skinnies. "Yeah...I was why..?" I asked him just as Andy got off the phone, "Don't tell me she's wearing that?" He asked CC, receiving a nod from the male as he looked at me, "Oh no, I'll have Ashley play dress up with you later. I'm not bringing a under dressed girl to a concert like this." He said to me with a wink as Ashley's voice rang out, "You want me to do what?" He said his voice still sleepy from his long slumber, "I need you to play dress up with Megan, she's planning on going to the concert like that." Andy said to him, Ashley chuckled at my outfit and smirked, "Well, come on Megan, I don't have all day to help you with this." He said to me taking my arm in his hand, "A..ashley, I think I can handle this on ..m..my own." I said to him.

He looked back at me and frowned, "No, you can't. " He said sternly as he motioned me to go into the room as he rummaged around in my bag for something that could work. "Well, looks like someone is using some of Juliets clothing. I'm going to go ask Andy if thats alright." He said walking out of the room, making me relax as I hoped that it would be okay, and soon enough he returned with a pair of ripped skinnies, a pair of combat boots, a leather jacket and a bvb tank. He smirked and handed them to me, "Put them on." I nodded and watched as he closed the door, I slipped the skinnies on and the boots first, along with the bvb tank and the leather jacket, they both fit perfectly. Then I grabbed my makeup bag and applied everything that i used on a day to day basis, and left the curls from this morning. I walked out and and saw that Ashley wasn't by the door anymore, so I walked into the living room guessing that would be where he was going to be.

"So....." I asked carefully putting my arms at my side as they all turned around, "Wow." CC replied to me, "You look nice." Jake and Jinxx said, "I knew that they would look good on you." Ashley said to me with a wink and finally Andy turned around and gave me a nod. I smiled and blushed at Ashley causing the guys to start a riot, "Oooo! Ashley!" They shouted all except Andy, who chuckled at them and grabbed his cig pack and went outside of the bus. "Don't torment her okay guys?" He said winking at me, he must have known how I felt because of Juliet, Andy and Juliet had always been one of my favorite couples even when I had no clue who they were, and I thought it was cool how Andy had a soft side. "So any of you want to join me for lunch?" Ashley asked moving his hair out of his face, "Yeah sure." The guys said as I followed them to the reastauraunt, which wasn't too far away from the tour bus, and I had to admit it was very classy and I was starving so there was no judging the food that I smelt. I smiled at them as we walked in, people turned and saw the four guys and screamed, "OH MY GOD ITS BLACK VEIL BRIDES!" One screamed while another whispered, "But wheres Andy?" then a few seconds later about a hundred fans gathered around and began to ask for autographs, "Sure!" Ashley said grabbing the papers and signing them, I waited patiently for all of them to be done signing. It was about ten minutes before they were done, then we all walked to the table and sat down, Ashley of course sat down next to me, and I sat down next to Jake. After we ordered we started to talk, and I was probably the most awkward person ever. "So Megan how hard was it to make all those basses?" Jake asked me raising an eyebrow as he waited for my response. "About five months, I had to help paint alot of them and order the right types, but the other artist painted the porn one for him." I said with a slight smile as we continued to talk about the basses.


Ashley chuckled at most of the things I said and kept glancing at me, making me want to glance at him. But I stopped myself everytime, he walked away as I was being punched that night, and he left me there to die.
