We Don't Belong

Echo's POV*
I walked in and sat at the back of the class next to the window. 'It might rain soon.' The teacher came in and started the lesson I payed enough attention to know when she asked a question and that was it.'...at least she wasn't asking me right?'

"Ms.Star what is the answer to the question on the board" I looked towards where Mrs.Brown was staring at a girl with long curly hair and near black eyes "Can I come and write it or do you just want the verbal?" She asked with an annoyed look on her face "Come and write it down please." She stood up with a sigh and walked to the front of the class wrote down the answer as though it was second nature to her.
She looked at me when she passed and winked all I saw was a mischievous glint in her eyes 'Great more attention oh I'm sorry I mean bullies great yay notice the severe sarcasm there'

Thirty minutes later class ended and I hurried to get to my locker before Jordan and his gang got there and did something. As I arrived I saw I was to late and hoped no one would notice me otherwise I might not hold myself back. I walked up to my locker and opened it getting everything I needed then closed it only to be pushed harshly against my locker. "OW! Damn it that hurt!" I looked up and saw Jordan holding me to it. He was about to say something when suddenly he fell back or rather was pulled back by the girl with the crazy long hair "Don't fucking touch her you stupid prick" She scorned. He looked up with wide eyes before standing up and smirking saying "Why don't I go spill your little secret freak" he said before she punched him in the jaw she looked like she could kill him then she looked at me grabbed my hand and pulled me away from there. But then she stopped. "I'll do you one better. HEY! EVERYBODY MY SECRET IS I'M BISEXUAL AND ADOPTED BY HIS FAMILY OH AND HE'S A FUCKING PRICK WITH A TINY DICK!" She yelled at the top of her lungs and pulled me along while running and laughing...ok fine I laughed a little bit too.

I was supposed to be scared 'I mean what does she want is she gonna hurt me I doubt it. She would've left Jordan to it otherwise.' I thought, as we come up to a black mustang it looked nice I gotta admit. "I'm Kuro Akuma Star what's your name" I was still in my own world, so it took a bit to process what she had said as I regained control she took out a cigarette and lit it Ilooking at me expectedly. I then said "I'm Echo Waters" she raised an eyebrow and said "My uncle works with someone with that surname, well either way nice to meet you sorry about that douche he can be a bit of an ass when I'm not around to kick it. But don't worry people will stop fucking with you since I'm back in schoo.l" she said laughing 'This girl is kinda weird' I thought to myself. "Why'd you save me?" She looked surprised and said "Because I can't leave a dear to be injured or harmed it's just not in me" She smiled and took a puff of her cigarette "Ok but I'm not a dear" I said confused by her statement, she chuckled and responded "I can see that smartass I called you that cause you got these sweet little Bambi eyes" she stomped her cigarette out on the concrete (to this day I feel like I spelled that wrong) and said "Well Bambi I've decided I'm gonna be your friend, you seem cool enough. Also don't be shocked when people call me Demon." I raised my eyebrow and she simply said "Akuma means Demon or Devil in Japanese my mother is half Japanese" I mouthed an oh and then said "Guardian Demon that sounds cool-oh here's my sister" she looked over and watched then said "Gimme your phone for a second" I handed it to her without much thought 'I hope she doesn't brake it on accident like Alyssa did that one time'. She handed it back to me then hugged me and pulled away and said "See you tomorrow Bambi" She got in her car and turned on a YouTube playlist (this is a real playlist) "Wait what's this song called?"I asked. She smiled and said "I'll do you one better "Exploring In So Many Ways on Rukia Cross" she's got an interesting taste in music, anyways Bambi I'mlate I'll see you soon ok?" I nodded and she started pulling out "I don't look like Bambi!" I shouted to her. She shook her head and drove off.

I waved as she pulled out and my sister pulled in I walked over and jumped in dad's car "Who was that?" she said, I replied "My uh friend Kuro she's...interesting" my sister raised an eyebrow and looked at me, I shrugged as we drove home listening to the Planetary Go! album because MCR is life.
