We Don't Belong

Sapphire was still slightly embarrassed everyone was still just staring at her in awe and on some people’s faces it was utter surprise. Sapphire looked at her dad who just looked at her with tears in his eyes. “I knew you could sing but I never you could sing in such a beautiful way” he smiled at her. Sapphire just walked towards him and gave him a big hug “I’m proud of you sweetie” he whispered to her leaving Sapphire with a huge smile on her face.

“So we good enough to be in your band?” said Tori raising her eyebrows at Zed as he seemed to be the one who called the shots in the group so she aimed the question at him. He just smirked at Tori and then glanced at Sapphire. “Yeah I guess you’re good enough” he said winking at Sapphire making her blush once again. Tori then started screaming excitedly causing Sapphire and everyone else to laugh.

“Well I’m glad thats sorted! Now boys for today you can go home and chill out or you can hang out here at the studio and I will talk to all of you tomorrow about where we go from here, Today I have to spend the day with Black Veil Brides about writing their new album so I will see you later” Smiled Matthew. “Okay thanks Mr Waters we will see you tomorrow!” said Michael.

“Sapphire, Tori are gonna stay here or are you gonna come with me and the guys?” asked Matthew. Before Sapphire said anything she looked at her watch to see what the time was and it was twenty-five to three, and she had promised Echo she would pick her up when she finished school. "Actually dad, I promised I would pick Echo up from school, but I'll be back in a bit" Her dad just smiled at her "here take the car" he said whilst throwing his car keys towards her "thanks dad I will see you in a minute" she replied before leaving everyone. As she left her dad went into the other room with the guys leaving Tori with Zed, Xavier and Michael.

Tori saw this as an opportunity to get to know the guys especially now that she was in a band with them. "So..." Tori started and Zed just raised an eyebrow at her "how did you guys meet?" She said rather cheerfully. Xavier let out a small laugh "Well as we're all brothers, we didn't really get much choice on meeting each other." Tori looked at them a little surprised "Wow I honestly wouldn't have thought you guys were brothers... I mean, you look nothing alike" she laughed, they all sort of laughed with her and then Michael spoke up "So, Tori how old are you?" She just smiled at him, happy that he was trying to make conversation with her. "I'm twenty one, what about you guys?" This time Zed spoke up "I'm the same age as you, Michael is nineteen and Xavier has just turned seventeen and is the baby of the family" Zed mocked Xavier slightly and he just stared blankly at his older brother. "And the quietest by the sounds of things" Tori smirked, noticing that she may have embarrassed him a little. Zed thought of Sapphire "What about Sapphire how old is she?" Tori raised an eyebrow and wondered whether Zed had taken a slight interest in her best friend. "She's twenty at the moment but in a few weeks she'll be twenty one... On Halloween to be exact" Zed just smiled at her. They continued trying to get to know each other and joking around and Tori was glad that she was able to join their band and become their friends. Tori had worked out that Zed seemed to be a bit of a player he had that confident badboy look to him as well, she also worked out that Xavier didn't really talk much and was quite shy. Xavier actually kind of reminded her of Echo, they definitely had some similarities. And then there was Michael he seemed to be the balance between Zed and Xavier, but she also came to realise that he was quite a hyperactive person when he's in an extremely happy mood. Tori just laughed at him while he just joked around with them all.

Meanwhile Sapphire was pulling into Echo's school car park, she checked the time and realised she still had five minutes before school actually finished, so she decided to put her music on a bit louder and started to listen to Princeton Ave by Issues.

Five minutes later she saw Echo walking outside and at first she looked fine and then some random guy started walking towards her and she started to back away from him, the fear evident in her eyes. Before Sapphire had even gotten out of the car she saw this guy pushing her sister. The anger started to rise within Sapphire and she full on stormed over to the guy and pushed him away from Echo. "Why don't you go and pick on someone else and leave my sister alone, you little shit!" He just glared at Sapphire. "Maybe I should pick on you instead then." He walked towards Sapphire until he was right in front of her and before she could react he slapped her across the face. Echo gasped and she noticed the anger in her sister's eyes and just seconds later Sapphire kicked the guy in the worst place you could kick a boy, straight in the balls. The guy keeled over in pain and Sapphire saw this as an opportunity to knee him in the face causing him to falter and fall to the ground she then kicked him in the ribs and spat on him. "Touch my sister again and it will be one of the last things you fucking do!" Sapphire grabbed her sisters hand and headed for the car. Whilst driving back to the studio Sapphire noticed a welt had formed on her cheek from being slapped she groaned as she realised she was now going to explain that to her dad. He was gonna go fucking mad and she was not looking forward to it!
