We Don't Belong

Sapphire Waters was just finishing her packing before she, her family and her best friend Tori made their way to the airport, as she just packed her last suitcase Tori’s alarm suddenly went off and all you could hear was the intro to Fallen Angels by Black Veil Brides blaring out of her phone.
Sapphires father had been offered a job over in America and was going to be working with musicians from all over the country so Sapphire was excited to be moving to America. She had always thought that her dad had a cool job and she had always hoped that she would have a job like him. Sapphires dad was going to be working at a record label called Lava Records and he was quite excited to have been offered the job.

Sapphire’s mum even agreed to let Tori come along too, especially as Tori had been living with them for the past year; due to the fact that she had moved out of her parents house, because she couldn't deal with her dad anymore and decided enough was enough and it was time for her to leave and have a fresh start. Tori groaned as she got up and sleepily walked to bathroom to get ready luckily she had finished all of her packing last night so she didn’t have to rush around this morning. Tori was excited to be moving to America with Sapphire and her family, mostly because she could finally escape her parents and she would be able to see her sister who previously moved to America two years ago because of her work.

They had all arrived at the airport and were in the departure lounge waiting to board but Sapphires younger sister, Echo started to panic and no longer want to leave as she was too frightened to fly. Sapphire had expected this from her sister and she knew how to calm her down too and so she stood in front of her sister and started to sing Saviour by Black Veil Brides. Echo looked at her sister and her breathing started to slow down, she never knew why but when she listened to her sister sing nothing seemed to matter everything just seems so calm when Sapphire sang. Sapphire had stopped singing and Echo was now calm and then their flight was called for boarding Echos eyes had widened and she looked at her sister terrified, Sapphire just gave her a reassuring smile and held out her hand for her to hold while they made their way to board the plane. Sapphire and Echo had quite a nice relationship as siblings which was odd as Echo was sixteen and Sapphire was going to be twenty-one in a few weeks time; Sapphire always thought that while Echo was a teenager she would be difficult to deal with like she was herself for her parents but weirdly Echo was quite quiet and never really caused any family drama, although she does have her moments when she can be a slight pain and decides to start a small tiff with Sapphire, but most of the time their relationship was sound. Sapphire puts it down to the fact that they have so much in common and so they find it quite easy to talk to each other but she has also known that her little sister has always looked up to her.

They had gotten on the plane and Sapphire and Tori were sat next to each other and Echo was sat with their parents. Tori thought back over what had just happened with Echo and how Sapphire had managed to calm her down and it made her miss her own sister even more, so she was glad that she would no longer be living too far away from her sister, Mackenzie. Tori was proud of her sister she had always had a dream of creating her own clothing company and she had managed to get exactly what she wanted. Mackenzie now has her own alternative clothing company set up in Los Angeles, California. So when Sapphires dad had announced that they would be moving to California and offered her to go with them she jumped at the chance and she was just really thankful that she was considered part of the family, and now she could actually see her own sister after two years of not being able to. Tori had finally stopped her day dreaming and started up a conversation with Sapphire. “So what artists do you think your dad might be working with?” Tori now had her hopes up that maybe some of her favourite bands would be signed to the record label that Sapphire’s dad would be working at. She looked at Sapphire and noticed she was smirking as if she knew something that Tori didn’t. “What are you smirking at!?” laughed Tori “Nothing I just have a feeling you will be surprised who my dad will be working with” Then winked at Tori. “Awh come on you have to tell me, pretty please”
For the rest of the flight Tori spent her time trying to get information about who Matthew (Sapphires dad) was suppose to be working with.
