Misunderstood

Raven's P.O.V

I knew Andy was following me. I'm not the smartest person in the world ,but I'm not stupid. I sank to my knees and cried until I could cry no more. I abruptly got on my feet. There has been something I have wanted to do for so long. I run a little going down hill. I found the little opening and kept running till I got to the end of the cliff. It was at a safe distance to jump and be fine. I grab my phone from my pocket and put Run Wild by For King and Country. I turn as loud as I can. I slowly took my boots off as well as the wraps that were around them. Slowly but surely I took my jacket, shirt, and pants off. All that I was left in was my bra and boy shorts underwear. I twirled around getting lost in the music. As soon as the second chorus started, I stepped back and ran and jumped, closing my eyes.

I felt the shock of the cold water crashing against mine. I twirl around underwater like it was a dance. I break the surface to soon gasping for breath. I wasn't trying to drown myself I just did want that cold sensation of the water brushing against my skin to go away.

I lay on my back so I float and close my eyes. I stretch my arms out so they're above my head. Surprisingly, I could still hear my music. I felt something dry wrap around my hand and yank me out of the water. I yank my eyes open in shock. At first I thought I was looking at the sky, I noticed that I was just looking into eyes that were about the same color. I gasped in a breath and just kept my eyes locked on Andy's.

"Why would you do that?!" He asked with concern lacing his eyes.

"It seemed like fun..." I said in a whisper.

"You could have gotten hurt!" He exclaimed shaking me slightly.

"But I didn't and that's what matters."

He just stared at me with a look of confusion and sympathy. He then just pulled tight against his chest and hugged me. Ok I knew I was wet already but I felt a steady stream of water droplets falling onto my shoulder. I looked up slightly and saw that Andy was crying.

"Why are you crying?" I whispered.

"Cause I love you...." I stared at him in shock and quickly looked down. "Go to sleep. You're tired I can tell."

He was right I was. I hadn't even noticed how tired I actually was. I just slipped off into the darkness that offered a safe haven. Just a place I can actually run wild and not have to deal with the problems of life.
