I Can't Love Him...Can I?
Chapter 9
Alexa's POV:
I woke up on the couch, and my head was pounding. I had heard what a hangover was supposed to feel like, since I was on a bus with Black Veil Brides, and I felt like I was having one. I could barely open my eyes since they were so puffy. I lightly caressed my face, and I felt a sticky substance on my cheeks. I realized that, since I had been crying, I had forgotten to wash my face. My makeup had run all over my face. I ran to a mirror, and almost fainted at the monstrosity that was my face. My head continued to pound, and I decided I would go back to sleep. My room was farther away than the couch, so I ran to the couch and passed out on it's inviting cushions.
Andy's POV:
"Alexa...I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt...ohhhhhhhhh..." I said, and stopped when I saw Lex on the couch. She looked like a fallen angel: beautiful, yet broken. Her cheeks were painted black with makeup, yet her pale skin still gleamed. I was about to lean over to kiss her head, when Juliet barged into the bus.
"Andy, why the hell did you not text or call me? For fucks sake! Jesus I thought you loved me?" She cried, as tears started to spill out of her eyes.
"Juliet, where were you...?"I asked, trying to be as calm as possible.
"I was helping my friend who's dog was dying and I crashed at her place, but why would you care, Andy!"
"Juliet...last night you said it was your friends cat." I could tell she was lying, especially since she was shifting her weight from side to side.
"It doesn't matter what kind of animal it was! You should have checked on me! We are in a relationship Andy! Doesn't that mean something?"
"Yes, Juliet. And, in a relationship, we have to be honest to each other. Where did you go last night?"
Just as Juliet was about to say something, Alexa woke up. And I knew Juliet was going to say something about her muddled appearance.
"Alexa, what did you do to yourself...did you finally get laid. Wow...shocker. Was that guy Jake any fun?" Juliet asked.
Right then and there, I knew Juliet had crossed the line. Alexa had taken a pledge to not lose her virginity until she was married, because she wanted to discover her true potential and who she was before she gave up herself to someone. And Juliet knew that. I didn't know what to do, so I reacted on instinct. I dragged myself and Juliet out of the room, before a big fight broke out. I didn't want Lexa to shed anymore tears. Juliet asked what was wrong with me. I said sorry for not contacting her, and we went out to breakfast. The entire time, I was wishing I was with Alexa. Apologizing for what I had done. Cause I won't believe this lie. Cause there's something more inside. When darkness is all you see. This is our sweet blasphemy...
