Juliet's POV-

"Juliet, Alexa's in a coma."

My heart stopped, and I started breathing erratically. I couldn't even answer Andy.

I dropped the phone, ran out the door and into the woods where I used to meet up with Eric. Even though I knew Alexa would be devastated, I slept with him for a year. And the entire time I imagined her in pain, and I would smile. Why would I do that?

I threw my hands in the air and I screamed. I shuddered at the sound of my own shriek . It sounded like I had been stabbed in the heart. And I had been...by me, myself and I.

I've caused Alexa so much pain. To be honest, my goal was to ruin her life. And it looks like I succeeded. She's in a coma, and she may die. When I wanted to "ruin her", it was out if pure jealousy. She was perfect, and I... I wasn't.

Now she's in a coma and she may die. Did I cause this? I obviously did.

Imagine your younger step sister doing everything right. Making your dad content, and your step mother smile, even though she had depression. Alexa was beautiful even when she was younger, and her voice was angelic and mesmerizing.

The first time we had met Andy, I could tell he liked me. But you could tell he had undiscovered feelings for her. Even the guy I liked wanted Alexa. Maybe that's what gave me the urge to continue seeing Eric. I don't know... I would never forgive myself.

I ran some more until I saw a river. I used to watch Alexa right songs here. I would listen, and she helped me realize that writing songs wasn't as hard as I thought.

I sat on the rock she used to sit on, and I screamed across the river:

"I LOVE YOU ALEXA!"



Alexa's POV-

I faintly heard Juliet's voice, and then, all of a sudden...

I woke up.
