My Life Turned To Ashes.

Ashley's POV

"Okay so I have the results and Buffy and Spike are siblings." The nurse said. We got copies of the DNA results and then went to the police station. "Hi I'm Ashley Purdy I'd like to report and abusive father." I said to the officer at the desk. "Ok. Do you have any proof of this abuse?" He asked. Spike lifted up his shirt and showed the officer the fist sized bruises. "Is this proof enough?" Spike asked. "Yes it is. If you give me your fathers information we can have him arrested by tonight.. And who exactly are you Mr. Purdy?" He asked. "My adopted daughter turns out to be Spike's younger sister. I have the DNA papers showing that they are siblings. If it's possible, once his father is arrested I'd like to adopt Spike as well." I said. "That can be arranged." He said. He pulled out a stack of papers and gave them to me. "Fill these out and I'll dispatch one of my Officers to go arrest him now." He said walking away. I gave Buffy to Spike and she fell asleep in his lap while I filled out the papers. I was nearly done with them when an officer came in with a struggling man. Then the Officer from earlier came in. "Son, is this your father?" He asked Spike. Spike looked at the man and fearfully nodded his head. The officer nodded and then I was done with the papers. I gave them to the officer and he printed out a copy of Spike's new birth certificate. After that we went to Spike's old house and he packed all of his belongings. When he was done we went back to the bus. "Hey guys were home!" I yelled. "Hey Ash.. Who's the kid?" Andy asked. "Guys this is Spike he's Buffy's biological brother. His father was abusive so I adopted him." I said. They all got up and came over to give him a hug welcoming him into the family. "Come on let's put Buffy to bed and I'll show you your bunk." I said. Spike was carrying Buffy so I set his bags in his bunk while he laid her in hers. "Would you mind helping me change her? She's a brat when it comes to changing her while she's asleep." I chuckled. He nodded and found a pair of 'Frozen' pajamas for her. We changed Buffy and tucked her in. "Ok so your bunk is above mine. So top left." I said. When I turned to face him he had tears in his eyes and he tackled me into a hug. "Thank you Ash." He said. "You can call me Dad if you want." I said hugging him back. He looked up at me his eyeliner smudged. "I haven't had anyone to actually call a "Dad" in a really long time." He said. I gave him one last squeeze and helped him into his bunk. After that I went and sat in the living room. "That was precious." Jinxx said laying his phone into his lap. "You took a video of that didn't you?" I asked. "Damn right I did. There's no way we aren't capturing the new Ash like this." He replied. "What ever I'm going to bed." I said chuckling. I went into the bunk hall and closed the divider door and leaned into Buffy's bunk. I gave her a kiss and the forehead then stood on the edges of her bunk and mine so I could see into Spike's. His bleached hair was a mess and he was sound asleep. I pulled a blanket over him and closed his curtain then climbed down and changed into some pajama pants before climbing into my own bunk and slipping into a peaceful sleep.
