My Life Turned To Ashes.

Spike's POV
A few minutes after I limbed into my bunk I fell asleep and had a horrible nightmare.
~Nightmare~
I was trying to sneak out the door as quietly as possible but I was thrown harshly to the ground. I looked up to see my so called "father". He raised his fists and began slamming them into me. Blow after blow after blow to my face chest and ribs. Finally he finished me off by kicking me in the groin and left me there screaming in pain. That's when I woke up.
~End of Nightmare~
I shotup in bed to the feeling of someone shaking me. I curled up into a ball and began crying. Dad climbed into my bunk and sat with me. "Spike what's wrong?" He asked. I could hardly breathe."I h-had a n-nightmare about m-my o-old dad." I said sobbing. He wrapped me in his arms and pulled me into his lap and began rocking us back and forth. "Spike you need to calm down okay?" He asked. I began taking deep breaths and soon my breathing was back under control. I leaned into Dad and closed my eyes. "Dad I'm scared." I whispered. "You don't need to be scared son. You won't see him again and were not gonna let anyonehurt you ever again okay?" He said to me. I nodded my head and he began rubbing my back comfortingly. He began singing and I could easily tell what song it was. It was 'A Better Place A Better Time' by Streetlight Manifesto. As he was singing my fears started to slowly slip away and I fell into a peacefull dreamless sleep.
Ashey's POV
After Spike fell back asleep I layed him down pulled his shoes off and covered him with a blanket. When I knew for sure he was okay I closed his curtain and went into the lounge area to see Andy asleep on the couch with the old 'Batman' series playing. I sat in the recliner and stared at the TV watching Adam West talkingabout the Joker doing something before I fell asleep. When I woke up I felt something small and warm curled up on my torso. I looked down to see Buffy asleep her headonmy chest and Morph curled up in her arms a giant comforter laid over the 3 of us. I look over to see a blanket on Andy as well. I wrapped my arms gently around Buffy and pulled her closer to me her head now right above my heart. I then pulled the blanket tighter around us and reclined back in the chair. Once I got comfortable I was again pulled into darkness.
