Ashley's POV
I decided to go check on my sister. I know she's with Jake but I can never forgive myself if something else bad happens to her.
I walked to the bunk area and immediately noticed they weren't in there. I went to the lounge area in the back and I found them, Khloe snuggled into Jake's side, practically sitting on him almost. She was asleep and he was just watching a movie.
"Hey, how is she so far?" I asked, with caution. My sister really doesn't do good with change. It makes her freak out since her nerves would always be on overdrive.
"She's good. We just finished watching A Nightmare Before Christmas and started watching Lost Boys before she went to sleep. Have we arrived at CC's place? I felt the bus stop moving a little bit ago." Jake answered quietly, so he wouldn't wake Khloe up from her slumber. I smiled when he mentioned what movies they were watching. Lost Boys and A Nightmare Before Christmas were Khloe's two favorite movies.
"Yeah, we did. Andy went up to the house to talk to him about Khloe. We thought it would be best for him to know beforehand about my sister." I told him, looking at my sister, sleeping in Jake's side. He just nodded his head in response.
Even though the abuse ended two years ago, I still feel guilty about everything. I looked at her one more time before I went back to the front of the bus. 'She looks so peaceful while she sleeps.' I thought as I sat down on the couch, joining Emma and Jeremy in the room. Jer was playing COD on the Xbox while Emma sat at the table. Jeremy paused his game and turned to look at me.
"So how is she right now?" he asked me, leaning back onto the couch. I sighed, looking at the floor.
"She's good for now since she is sleeping. She and Jake were watching her favorite movies in the back room. He said that she had fallen asleep after they started to watch their second movie." I assured him, looking at him, grabbing a controller to play COD with him.
"Ash, Jer is going to kick your ass in that game. I mean he's not as good as Jake but you just suck." Emma said to me, with a big smile on her face. I just scoffed in response. Little do they know is that Khloe and I have been playing this a lot lately since it's her favorite game.
I was on a winning streak when the door of the bus opened, distracting me and allowing Jeremy to kill me, causing me to lose.
"Fucking hell! Rematch Jinxx, I got distracted." I yelled, throwing the controller down on the couch for a second. Emma and Jeremy laughed at my outburst. I looked towards the door because I had heard laughter and saw Andy at the top of the stairs with CC right behind him. Both were looking at me, like I had something on my face while still laughing at me.
"Dude, what happened?" Christian asked, coming to sit on the couch while Andy sat with his sister at the table.
"You fuckers messed me up when y'all walked in." I told him, pointing my finger at him with a stern look on my face. I hate losing, especially to my sister. She would always rubbed it in my face.
"It's not my fault! It was Andy who opened the door not me!" CC said back, pointing at Andy but looking at me with a pout on his face.
"Oh thanks Chuppy. Way to throw your own band mate under the bus." Andy spoke, trying to pull a serious look but couldn't. He started laughing at Christian's pouty face.
He just shrugged and leaned back on the couch. I shook my head and laughed at him.
"Well I'm going to go put my stuff in my bunk. Ash, can you help me?" C asked, looking directly at me. I gave him a confused look and nodded, getting up at the same time.
I helped take his bags to his bunk. I feel bad for him since we decided that he would have to sleep under Jake. I sat the bags on his bed and turned to head towards the back room. I felt like I needed to check on Khlo again. Before I could start walking, Christian called my name.
"Ashley, can we talk?" he asked me, and I nodded. My back was still facing him so I turned around and sat on his bunk with him, looking at the floor.
"Andy told me that you brought your sister on tour with us. He also told me what happened to her. I'm really sorry about that. He told me that you guys are very protective of her, especially you and him. Is that why whenever one of the guys would bring her up during practice you would change the subject before I could ask about her? Is that why I never met her?" Christian questioned with a very sincere look on his face. I looked towards him and noticed his words were definitely sincere because I could see it in his eyes. I knew I couldn't lie to him when he was being sincere about the situation. I sighed and looked at the floor again.
"It's not that I don't want her to meet you. It's just, well she is afraid of strangers. She doesn't trust anyone easily after what happened. She just started to get use to Jeremy and Jake. When she hears one of us say your name, she questions who you are and why she hasn't met you sooner than now. Basically I sheltered her from you because I didn't know how she would take to you. You are very hyper and happy all the time. You can be loud at times but it's nothing that any of us can handle. However she is the one who can't handle that. Whenever someone is loud or raises their voice, she gets scared." I answered him honestly. I hope he doesn't take anything I said to heart. I don't want to hurt his feelings because I haven't allowed them to meet.
"So because of how I act, that's why we haven't met? You think I will scare or hurt her?" he said slowly, trying not to get confused from processing everything I said in his brain.
"C, I don't think that. I'm just very cautious when it comes to her. I know you won't scare her or even hurt her. I'm just worried on how she will take to you as a person. I feel like a total ass about this whole thing too. I keep changing the subject whenever her name is mentioned at practice. I tell her to quick asking you when we say your name around her. I should have just let you two meet already. Tomorrow morning I will introduce you to each other, okay? How does that sound?" I told him, letting him know that he wasn't the problem. It was all myself. Once he heard that, he had this big smile on his face.
"That sounds good. I really do want to meet her. If she's anything like you, then we can be good friends." Christian said happily, leaning over to hug me tight. I just laughed and hugged him back. After I pulled away, I stood up and turned towards him.
"I'm going to check on Khloe." I informed him, laughing at him. He nodded his head, still having that big smile on his face. I smiled back at him and headed to the lounge room in the back.
