Beautiful Remains

Lay your heart down the ends in the sight.

"Khloe, if you don't come on and hurry, I will just leave you here in this house by yourself!" Ashley threatened his younger, by five minutes, twin sister, as she brought her luggage down.

Ashley and Khloe Purdy were about to load up on the tour bus to set off the tour for the band, Black Veil Brides', second album, Set The World On Fire. Ashley was the member out of the two, Khloe was their merch girl for the tour. Ash played the bass, and sometimes he would get mistaken for girl.

"Okay that's all of my stuff. Are you happy now?" Khloe said, putting her last bag down. A knock came at the door and she turned around to answer it.

"Are you two ready yet?" Andy said, pulling Khloe into a hug as his sister Emma came through the door as well.

"Oh my god! Emma, you're coming on tour too!!" Khloe screamed, excited to see that her best friend is coming on tour with them.

"Haha yeah I am. I had to beg Andy into letting me come." Emma said, to Khloe, hugging her as well. Khloe was very happy that she wasn't the only girl coming on the tour.

"So Andrew, who is this CC guy? I still have yet to meet since someone won't let that happen." Khloe stated, looking at her twin brother, giving him a very rude look. Andy forgot that she still hasn't met him yet. Ashley refuses to let that happen but with very good reason behind it. Khloe doesn't do well meeting new people, especially men.

"Well he is our new drummer now so you will get to meet him. I keep forgetting you don't know him yet." he told her, hoping that his answer satisfies her for now.

Andy's POV

"Andrew Dennis Biersack! You don't expect that answer you gave me will work now, do you?" Ashley's sister, Khloe, asked me, looking at me while pouting. 'Well I don't want to tell you that it's because of your brother, but with good intention.' I thought in my head.

"Well I kinda was hoping it would, Khlo. I mean what do you want me to say?" I said back to her. I didn't want to be the one to tell her she can't meet him at all but her brother would kick my ass.

"Sis, I think it's best if you don't know him yet. You are just now getting used to Jake and Jeremy. Just don't worry about meeting him for now, okay?" Ashley told his sister, as I put my arms around her, making sure she knew that its me.

I feel so bad for her. She's had a few rough years. She didn't even come to us with her problem until two years ago, back in 2009. None of us had known she was getting abused by her fiancee. I had suspected it though because I noticed how different she had been acting at that time. Ashley was so upset with himself when he found out. Her relationship with the man, Adam, was a horrible experience. She couldn't even get out of it until she told us what was going on. Since then, I felt the need to protect her.

When we found out Adam was abusing Khloe, Ashley was ready to kill him. Sandra, Chris, and David had gone with Ashley to track him down. They were just as pissed as Ashley and myself were at the man. I stayed with Khloe while they took off, calming her down and cleaning her wounds for her. She had called Ash before she came over to see if he was at my house. We had band practice that day and had just finished when she called, crying.

Next thing I knew, she was over at my place, in the basement where we have practice at, with bruises and cuts all over her. Her lip was busted open, bleeding down her chin and she had a cut across her right cheek that was still bleeding down her face. She had various cuts on her arms, shoulders, and chest. I was just eighteen, going on nineteen, at the time and she was twenty-five. I stayed with her because she needed a friend and I decided that the friend would be me. Khloe's shirt was all bloody and she explained and showed me that Adam had craved his name in her side and she had more cuts on her abdomen.

"Hey guys, we need to get on the road soon. We still have to go by and pick up CC also." Jeremy said, coming into the house, with Jake right behind him.

"Okay. Jake, can you take Khlo's bags for her? She has quite a few." Ashley asked, grabbing their bags.

"I'll help. Jake and Khloe can go onto the bus instead. He can show her the bunks and have her pick the one she wants." I said before Jake had the chance to say anything. Jake came and stood by us.

"K, what bags do you want with you on the bus right now?" He asked her, hoping she will answer him. She looked at him, smiling.

"Just the two big ones Jakey." Khloe answered him, pointing at the two biggest suitcases she has. Jake nodded and grabbed them quickly.

"Are you okay with Jake taking you to the bus?" I asked her carefully, turning her around in my arms. She nodded and looked up at me, smiling.

"It's fine, B. I will be okay." was all she said, still smiling. I smiled back, giving a little chuckle at her nickname she called me.

"Khloe, are you ready?" Jake questioned, with her bags on his left side, holding his right arm out for her to take. She nodded and grabbed his arm, walking out the front door.

We quickly grabbed the rest of the bags and loaded them onto the bus. After we finished, we were off to get CC. Hopefully he doesn't scare Khloe before they actually meet.

"Has anyone told C about Khloe? We don't want him scaring my sister just yet. It's really hard for her to trust new people." Ashley asked, looking at Jinxx, Emma, and myself.

"No, I don't think so. But I will tell him once we pull up to his house. Maybe it will be a good idea for Khloe to stay in the bunks until morning." I said while sending Jake a message to keep her back there.

Khloe's POV

"Jake, thank you for helping me. You really didn't have to do that though." I told him while walking towards the bus. He was carrying my large suitcase and my large duffle bag. The suitcase has my blankets and pillows in it, as well as makeup and my hair straightener. My duffle had clothes that I could wear for the first month of the tour.

"Khloe, it was no problem at all. Now since we are in the bunk area, which one do you want?" He replied, pointing at the twelve bunks around us.

I looked at them and notice that four were already claimed. On one side of the first set of six, the top bunk on the left side was taken. Opposite of those three, the middle and top bunks were claimed. In the second set, only one was claimed. I knew that Emma had taken that bunk since I know she likes her privacy from her brother. I decided to take the second middle bunk in the first set of six.

"I'll take this middle bunk, J. Who has already claimed their bunks? I seen four already taken." I asked him, sitting, well climbing into my claimed bunk.

"Well K-Bear, mine is the one directly across from you. Jeremy has the one on top of mine. Andy's is the one above yours and Emma's is the one by itself for now. Now, lets get your bed made for now." Jake answered, opening my suitcase and helping me out of my bunk. He started to make my bunk for me which I thought was very kind of him. While making my bed, he told me where I could put my clothes and I did just that. I had just finished putting the last shirt in the drawer when Jake came over, putting his phone back into his pocket.

"Do you want to watch a movie for now? You can pick. We have a lounge area back here where we can watch it." he questioned, bending down to my level. I nodded my head and smile at him. He helped me up and took me to the lounge area.

"Can we watch A Nightmare Before Christmas?" I asked, sitting down on the comfy sofa. Jake laughed and nodded his head, grabbing the movie from the collection.

He put the movie in the DVD player and turned the TV on. He grabbed us something to drink and sat down next to me. I pulled my knees up to my chest as he put the sodas on the table. Jake grabbed a blanket next to him and wrapped it around us, pulling me into his side.
