Plans
Andy and I spent a couple of days with his parents before we had to go back to California. It was fun and his parents loved me. But I have to admit that it was good to go back home.
“You’re home!” Katelyn yelled when Andy and I walked through the door. She hugged me or more like nearly tackled me. “I missed you big time!”
“I missed you too Katelyn. But how did you get in here?” I was confused. I was pretty sure that Andy locked the door.
“There was a copy of the key hidden someplace secret and I happened to know where it was.” CC said walking up to us.
“Is there anyone else here?” Andy asked as CC gave him a ‘man’ hug.
“Yeah.” CC answered. “We couldn’t have a welcome back party without everyone else.” He said enthusiastically.
“Party?” I asked nervously. The last time I partied it was disastrous.
“They’re going to party. We are going to have a girls night.” Katelyn chimed in. “Watch chick flicks, eat junk food and talk about guys.”
“Will there be pillow fights?” CC looked a little too excited thinking about that.
“Christian this is real life, not the movies.” Katelyn answered. “We are going to veg out. That’s the reality of slumber parties.” She turned her attention to me. “So go get an overnight bag packed because you’re coming with me.”
“Okay.” I answered and headed towards the bedroom.
Ashley, Jake, Jinxx, Matt, Danny and Ben were all in the living room yelling about something. When I passed through they all quieted down and looked at me.
“Hi guys.” I said awkwardly and went into the bedroom.
Ben ended up following me into the room. “We thought you guys were never coming back.” He said sitting on the bed.
“Yeah like Andy would abandon the band.” I answered with a smirk and then frowned. “They all hate me, don’t they?” I grabbed a small bag and put it on the bed next to Ben.
“Where did you hear that?” Ben asked trying to avoid my question.
“Ashley called Andy and seemed surprised when Andy said he was with me.”
“They don’t hate you per say. They’re just kinda pissed.” Ben answered.
I sighed, “I think I’m going to have to talk with them eventually.”
“Don’t worry, I don’t hold anything against you and I don’t think Danny does either. But then again I’m better friends with you than Andy so I don’t know how consoling that is.” Ben said making me chuckle.
“Thanks, that makes me feel a whole lot better.” I responded, sarcastically.
“What’s taking you so long woman?” Katelyn asked coming into the room. “You guys really need to reorganize and redecorate.” She said looking around the room.
“It’s Andy’s room; I’m not going to mess with it.” I grabbed some clothes and threw them into the bag.
“Can I come to girl’s night?” Ben asked with a smirk. I probably would have thought it was a strange thing for a guy to ask but I knew Ben too well to think it was strange.
“No, you’re not a girl. You have to hang with the guys.” Katelyn answered not even looking at him. I’m guessing she was still pissed at Ben.
“Sorry Ben but I haven’t spent time with Katelyn since before Warped.” I answered nicely.
“Ben get your ass out here! We’re doing shots!” One of the guys yelled.
“I’m coming!” He yelled and left the room.
“I don’t understand how you like him.” Katelyn commented as soon as Ben was out of ear shot.
I shrugged my shoulders, “He’s like a drunk, British, guy version of you.”
“I don’t see it.” She said shaking her head.
“Well I’m ready if you’re done contemplating your likeliness to Ben.” I said shouldering my bag. I still had stuff at the apartment so I didn’t need to pack much, just some clothes.
Katelyn and I walked back into the living room. I didn’t pay much attention to the other guys, just Andy. “Bye.” I said and kissed him on the cheek. I didn’t want to interrupt the conversation he was having with Matt. I just wanted him to know that I was leaving.
He smirked and looked at me. “That’s all I get?”
I rolled my eyes and smiled, then kissed him on the lips. “Better?”
He nodded, “See you tomorrow.”
“Yep.” I answered. It was going to be weird being apart from Andy for a night. Even when we were fighting on Warped we slept in the same bunk.
“Are you going to be able to survive without him for a whole night?” Katelyn asked as she started driving.
I shrugged my shoulders, “I’m going to have to get used to it because he’s going to Europe soon.”
“So you’re not going?” She sounded surprised.
I shook my head, “No, I have school. Why does everyone think I’m going?”
She shrugged her shoulders, “You and Andy seem to be inseparable.”
“Well there’s no way I’m going to Europe with him.”
“How are you going to survive? That’s like two and a half months of being away from him.” Katelyn added.
“I think I’ll survive.” I answered not at all sure that I would.

“So what happened after I dropped you guys off?” Katelyn asked taking a bit of ice cream. We were in her bedroom, watching The Breakfast Club. “You guys like disappeared.”
“Well I had a freak out and was going to leave.” I explained looking down at my ice cream. I hadn’t told anybody about that. “I didn’t feel like myself and I hated what I put Andy through. But he convinced me to stay with him and said that we could go somewhere, just us. And so we took a road trip to see his parents. He had been planning it for some time apparently. I’m surprised that no one else knew about it.”
“Yeah well there were a few rumors going around our little group.” Katelyn responded.
“Oh really? Like what?” I was a bit surprised by it.
“Rehab for you.”
“What?” I asked shocked.
“I’m not done yet woman.” She scolded me. “Can I go on?”
I nodded my head and smirked, “Yeah.”
“You were pregnant and you either a. ran away together of b. you guys went to get an abortion. Which that whole rumor doesn’t make any fuckin sense so I’m guessing CC just made it up to mess with the rest of the group. Totally sounds like something he would come up with. And then the most believable is that you two went to Vegas to get married.”
I thought them over in my head and shrugged my shoulders. “I think I like the pregnancy one, it’s more dramatic.”
Katelyn laughed, “Right? So how was the road trip with Mr. Sexy Rock Star?”
I chuckled, “Awesome, hell and oddly normal. We bickered a lot, so that was entertaining. But overall it was a nice little escape from the craziness.”
“Well it has been killer without you here. I don’t understand how you hang out with the guys as much as you have. It’s like I’m suffering from a frickin testosterone overflow. There were a couple of nights where I just had to be away from CC on the premises that he was a guy. Though on the plus side I’ve met Jinxx’s significant other, Sammi Doll. She’s pretty awesome.”
“Have you replaced me?” I said acting hurt.
“Like you can say anything. You replaced me with a drunken British dude.” Katelyn replied pointing her spoon at me.
I nodded, “Fair enough. I’ve met Sammi once before, she was pretty cool.”
“Well we have a master plan when all of the guys leave for the tour and now you can be in on it.” Katelyn said excitedly.
“What is this plan that you weren’t planning on including me in on?” I answered.
“We’re all going to move into here together so that we don’t have to all be alone.”
