Cammi's POVI walked up to the outlet in the wall and yanked the cords out, my mom just sitting there with her arms crossed.

"WHY ARE YOU IN HERE?"

"What have you been doing to these people?" She pointed at the blank computer monitor.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!"

She then directed her finger towards me.
"Don't give me any bullshit Camille, and watch your language!"

I open my mouth to speak, but I close it immediately.

"I don't know what shit you're trying to pull; involving other kids in that kind of material, but we are talking to your father about this!"

"He wouldn't even care," I crossed my arms and stared at the floor.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"You guys haven't been parents at all!"

"Wha-"

"Save it." I hold my hand up.
"When Dad was here, you guys didn't even sleep in the same bed."

She sighed and tried to step closer to me, but I backed away.

"Sometimes I wonder why you guys had me in the first place." I cross my arms behind my back.

"We got pregnant."

What. The. Fuck. Did. She. Just. Say.

"I was a mistake?" My whisper was so much quieter than I thought it would be.

"Camille..." She stepped forward but this time I froze in place.
"You were the best mistake that we ever had."

I knew it wasn't true even though I was really hoping it was.

I turned around to walk out, but my mom interrupts me.
"Camille, you need to promise me something." She actually sounded like she was... crying. Gross.
"That you won't do anything stupid, 'cause I'd never know what I would do with myself if you ever got hurt..."

"Sure, Mom." I walked out without another word said.
