DARRENS POV

I woke up to scarlet laying in my arms. I smiled at her sleeping figure. So beautiful. I could have watched her for hours. Slowly her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me with her beautiful smile.

"Morning" aww her morning voice was so cute!

"Morning angel," I said as she gave me her perfect smile.

"I have a surprise for you today, so let's get up and get dressed" I said with a smile plastered on my face.

I was so nervous! God I felt like a teenage boy asking his crush to be his girlfriend, only this time I'm asking the love of my life to marry me.

"Surprise? Just for me?" She asked confused and shocked.

"No one else but you" I said with that same stupid lovesick smile on my face.

She leaned in and gave me a small peck before jumping out of bed and running to the bathroom, to get dressed

I had gotten ready and was now only waiting for scarlet to get dressed, but I didn't mind, I had been waiting three years to be in a real relationship with her, waiting 15 minuets won't kill me.

No it didn't kill me, but she made my heart skip a beat when she came out of the room. She looked absolutely beautiful. She was wearing a black sun dress that complemented her beautiful baby bump perfectly. Her vibrant red hair was off to the side in a fish tail braid? I think that what there called. And her fringe was parted perfectly. She was wearing combat boots and barely any makeup, letting her natural beauty make her look even more perfect then she already was (if that was even possible!)...... She was just so..... Perfect, stunning, beautiful, she was a Fallen Angel.

"Ready?" She asked breaking me from my trance

"Y-yeah" UGHH! I mentally slapped myself for stuttering!

She walked over to me and held out her had, which I proudly took in mine and led us both out the door. We walked to the car, and I of course opened the door for my love to get into the car.

"So what's the big surprise?" She asked once I was in the car.

I gave her a smirk before replying

"Now if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?" I said and she glared a me in annoyance, she hated waiting, but I wanted today to be special

"But first, we are going to the movies, then the mall, and whatever else you want to do until 6:30, then you get the surprise." I said knowing she would want to go the mall and movies first.

"6:30?, why do I have to wait that long?!?" She whined in a childish voice causing me to laugh.

"Because it's special" with that said she stopped questioning.

The rest of the day was spent watching Tim Burtons Batman, shopping at hot topic, and just us talking. Finally the time had came, and Max was texting me non stop! I had to turn my phone off so I could talk to scar without being interrupted by max. Nearing the time, I decided to turn on my phone, only to be bombarded with thousands of messages by max, but I only read the recent ones.

Max: where are you guys?!?
Max: it's almost time!!
Max: what kinda wine do you guys want?
Max: Darren it's all ready!

And I responded to those by saying;

Me: we're on our way
Me: I'm aware it's almost time!
Me: she's pregnant dumbass!
Me: thanks.

"Who are you talking to?" Scarlet asked causing me to jump and almost drop my phone.

We were currently walking to the car on our way to the beach, but scarlet didn't know.

"Uh.. Just Max." I said as we reached the car, I of course opened the door for scarlet again, then rushed over to my side of the car.

"Is it time for the surprise.?!?" Scarlet asked in an adorable childish excited voice that brought that same stupid smile to my face.

"Yes" I said as we arrived at the beach that was not far from the mall

I jumped out of the car and rushed to her side to open the door for her but she opened it before I could. I pouted a bit and she laughed but soon made me smile by giving me a kiss

"So... What's the surprise?!?!?!" She asked, excitement obvious in her eyes and voice.

"Close your eyes" I said and she did as said.

I smirked before grabbing her hand and leading her down the beach where I saw Max setting up a few final touches... Damn he did a good job! I'll have to thank him later. He saw me coming with scarlet and instantly ran off. Leaving it to just us two.

"Where are you taking me?" She asked and I could hear the smile in her voice. And I smiled to myself once we reached the desired destination.

"Ok, open your eyes" and with that said her eye lids fluttered open to reveal her gorgeous breath taking, sparkling green eyes looking down at the candle lit picnic.

"Darren... It's beautiful" she said as a tear escaped her perfect eyes.

"I love you so much!" She said as she jumped in my arms to kiss me which I Instantly responded to.





We sat down and ate, talked, laughed, as the end neared I got extremely nervous, the box in my pocket was ready to jump out and reveal the onyx ring I had purchased for my one and only.

"Scarlet... There's something I need to ask you, something I had been wanting to do for a while now" I said as I got down on one knee in front of her and reached for the box in my pocket

"Darren.." She whispered only waiting for what was to come next

"Will you make me the luckiest guy in the world and marry me?" I asked as I opened the box to reveal the gorgeous ring fit only for a gorgeous girl like my scarlet.

Tears started to form in her eyes and she whispered that one word I was dying to hear

"Yes" I put the ring on her finger and she burst into tears as she pulled me into a long passionate kiss

Life. Is. Great.
