She hates love..... He loves hate

My already shattered heart just broke into a Million pieces more. Why won't she let me love her?!? Since the day we met it's only been sex, not love, she wouldn't even tell me the true reason why she moved! All I know is that her name is scarlet Anna rose, she's a 19 years old girl who stole my heart and moved here from a small town in Ohio.

"How do you know love doesn't exist? Scarlet I want more with you then just sex-"

"Darren please stop" she cut me off while sobbing.

"No scarlet! I won't stop! I love you! Do you even know what love is? How bad it hurts to know I can never call you mine?.." I asked and she avoided the question.

"Have you ever experienced love? Do you know how much my heart aches for you-"

"No Darren! Love doesn't exist! I left my heart and all it's scars behind!. I can't experience love! I never have and I never will! I am so broken from pain, I am unable to love or be loved..... It just doesn't exist.." She was now silently sobbing, as if she was about to break down in tears any second now

"Let me show you it exist." I whispered to her, cuffed her chin and brought her lips to mine.

"I don't want to just have sex with you anymore, I just want to make love to you scarlet" I whispered to her as I wiped away a single tear that escaped her gorgeous eyes.



And that's exactly what we did, it wasn't just sex like we had done not hours before, it was love. Pure love. It was amazing.

I collapsed on the bed right next to her, both of us breathless, I pulled her into my arms and passionately kissed her.

"Scarlet will you please let me love you? Will you be mine" I took a chance of getting my heart broken again, but I loved her to much to care.

"Yes..." She whispered and a smile formed upon her lips as another silent tear fell from her breathtaking green eyes

We decided to get a few more hours of sleep before we got up, she had her nightmare this morning at around 3am, it was 5 now, and she didn't need to get to work till 9. I fell into my dreams with my love in my arms



SCARLET POV

I woke up with an arm gripped safely and secure around my waist and a feeling that my heart had returned. The feeling that I was being loved by someone. The only someone I had feelings for, it was safe to say I lov- no I can't say it just yet.... I do care a lot about Darren, I'm just not ready to use the L word yet.... I looked up to see Darren looking down at me, with a smile on his face. I returned one of my own before speaking

"Did I wake you?"

"Nah babe I've been awake" His morning voice was so cute! And perfect!

"Why didn't you wake me?" I asked as I played with our conjoined hands and tangled fingers

"You looked so perfect and peaceful" he said and gently but passionately pecked me on the lips

"What time is it?" I asked and he reached over me to get his phone, I think I left mine in the car.

"7:30"

"Uh! I have work today! Can you drive me home? I don't feel like driving and I need to get ready for hell- I mean work" I asked and he chuckled

"You don't need to go home, you left extra cloths here from your last visit, I washed them, you can wear those if you want. Or I can drive you home" he said and began to play with strands of my hair.

"I'll wear those, but can I take a shower real quick?"

"Sure, I'll make breakfast" he said then placed a kiss on my nose.

I walked into the restroom and jumped into the shower, not needing to worry about getting undressed because I was already naked.
