Forgive me.

I felt the wind tug at my long black hair. I saw a pale man with black hair through the darkness, I shouldn't be doing this. But I'm so hungry... I walk up to him, trying to be as discreet as possible. "Sorry sir.." I mutter, before pushing him to the ground and grabbing at his wallet, a huge struggles ensues. "What the fuck!?" "Andy!? What's going on!?" There was other people?! Fuck! I feel rough arms grab me and pull more away, but I still have Andys wallet in my hand. I struggle away and run. As fast as my frozen legs could. "GET BACK HERE FUCKER!!" IS THE OTHER GUY CHASING ME?!? FUCK!! Boom. I'm on the floor, the man on top of me. I-is that.... IS THAT ASHLEY PURDY?!? Ashley Purdy is on top of me... Hehe. "Y-you're a chick!?!?" His grip on my neck loosens, and I feel the bruises slowly come up, he shifts his weight so he doesn't crush me, and he moves his hands down so he grips my wrist. "Yes I'm a fucking chick! Now let me go!!!" "Not until you give Andys wallet back!" "Fuck no!" Ashley growls and tightens his grip. "Please just let me go!" My stomach makes a growling noise, and Ashley glances down at it, but shifts his attention back to my face. "I'm calling the fucking police." No!!! He can't call them fuck no!!! I feel familiar warm tears trickle down my cheeks. I push him off and fumble through the black wallet and pull out a fifty. Forgetting the fact that these two men saved my life a long time ago. I threw the wallet to the ground. "I just need this." "Why?" "So I can fucking feed my baby got it. I haven't eaten in two fucking days for fuck sakes so I could feed her. I wouldnt’ve jumped andy if I didn't need to." Ashley sighs and stands up, And lays a hand on my shoulder. I shrug it off. "Don't touch me." I run back to our hiding spot to see Rosie hiding behind the trash can, exactly where I left her, sleeping, with a blanket and her teddy. I smiled at her and her eyes fluttered open. She smiles at me and reaches her arms out, I pick her up with her only belongings and i grab mine, a backpack full of water bottles and around 200 dollars worth of stolen money for food, the suns coming up and the sky is painted red and orange. “Rosie are you cold?” She opened her bright blue eyes at me and smiled, and shifts a little in my arms. She shakes her head and snuggles into me even more, I brush her brown hair away from her face, and she giggles. “Are you going to talk to me?” I smile at her, and she pouts. “Of course I will mommy!”
“But you don’t talk much!” She giggles again and crosses her arms. “Because I don’t like talking!”
“Why?”
“um..” I sighed at her and adjusted the strap on my backpack.“Are you going to grow up fast?” “I think I will,”
“why?”“So I can take care of mommy,”
“Why would you want to take care of me?”
“Because I don’t like it when you bleed..” Gagh. Right in the heart. shes fucking 5 she shouldn’t know... Oh my god...We always have these deep conversations, shes a big girl, she understands a lot and fuck it scares me. She’s so smart though, it makes me proud of her really.“Mommy?”“Yes darling?”“How much longer till we can eat?”I smiled and got the 50 out of my pocket. "Why wait darling?"
