My Romeo's Lullaby

"I told you, you have to be carefull with your surroundings, use them." Andy said to a tired, sweaty Cora.
The battle was 3 weeks away and she started to get paranoid.
"I'm trying!" She panted with her hands on her knees.
Her lungs burned. "Take a break and we'll start over." Andy sighed. Cora walked over to a bench and collapsed on it.
This is killing her. She didn't sleep at all last night and it was partially Andy's fault. She watched Andy who was petting Saphira.
"Getting any better?" She heard Ashley's voice behind her. She shook her head and shrugged. "Now you mention it, no." Ashley sat beside her and gave her a clother to wipe her sweaty neck and forehead.
"It's going to be okay." He patted her on her shoulder. "Will it?" She looked him in the eyes. Cora stood up and walked of. She couldn't train anymore, all her energy was drained from her. The tired girl walked upstairs and headed to her room. Andy walked over.
"Hey, where's Cora?" Andy asked Ashley. "She headed to her room." Ashley said and continued to sharpen his axe.
When Andy arrived to their room he slowly opened it. He peeked behind the door and saw Cora violently taking of her armor.
He walked over and stopped her from ruining her straps.
"Let go." She yanked her arm back and fuddled with the straps again. "What's wrong?" He sat behind her on the bed and leaned with his chin on her shoulder. "I'm going to die, that's what's wrong." He sighed.
She got her upper armor of and threw it on the ground. Cora stood on and almost made Andy fall of the bed. "You're not going to die." He muttered.
Cora kicked of her boots and pulled her pants down. She kicked them somewhere and sighed. Andy laughed when he looked at the full picture.
"What?!" She snapped."Come here princess." He opened the blankets for her and she sighed ofcourse, but got in. He took of his clothes and got under the covers to. Their body warmth mixing together.
After a moment of silence she spoke. "Let's run away." She whispered. He felt her breath in the crook of his neck.
"Why?" He chuckled. "I can't handle this, I'm not a queen, I'm not a fighter."
She snuggled closer to him. "I don't want to die." Andy played with her hair. He stopped at her last sentence. "You're not going to, I'm here to protect you, you know that." He said a little sternly.
Cora soon fell asleep and Andy watched her, in a non creepy way if that was possible...

When he woke up he looked around. It was close to dinner time and Cora was still sleeping in his arms. When he looked at the bedside table he saw a rolled up letter.
The king frowned and carefully reached over, trying his best not to wake Cora. He got the letter in hand and used his teeth to open it.

King of the wild ones,
We are expecting you and you partner tomorrow in the castle of Reille Forda,
to discuss the current issues and war. We know what you want.

Madness.

His eyes widened. Madness?
Why did she contacted him? He was just a king. She was the mighty witch everyone adored and feared.
He needed to talk to ashley, but then he looked down. Maybe a few minutes couldn't kill anyone....

"Madness?!" Ashley shouted shocked and afraid.
"Yes, she expects me and Cor tomorrow at Reille, she wants to talk about F.E.A.R." Andy shifted on his throne.
"Does Cora know?" Ashley took another sip of his wine. Andy nodded. "She is going to travel with me on Saphira and we'll be back by sundown I promise."
The eyes of the men focused on their little sister who clutched her stoamch and collapsed on her throne.
"I just ate a whole sandwich." She smiled exhausted.
"That's wonderfull, Koda." Andy smiled. "You'll be strong in no time." Ashley patted on her shoulder and walked to the halls. "So what's the fuzz about Madness?" Andy shook his head and stood up. "Don't worry about it, sweetheart." He walked away and petted her head. Koda sighed and sunk in the chair.

When Andy walked upstairs he looked around for Cora. "Cora?" He opened the door, but the bed was empty. He frowned and walked to the bathroom.
It was empty. "Cora!?" He ran to the guest room where she hasn't been sleeping in a long time. Andy panicked and ran downstairs.
After the train of stairs he landed in the kitchen.
"Has anyone seen, lady Cora?!" He yelled through the kitchen.
He got a bunch of "No your grace"s and he ran of.
Running outside, he yelled her name a couple of times. He looked over the grass and noticed something. Something small, something white?
He ran to it and the closer he got, the more he sped up. He picked up the rolled up letter and looked at it.
It had no sigil just like the one of the bedside table. He rolled it open, scanned the paper and remained quiet.
His blood was boiling and with rage he ripped the sheet of paper apart.
The king screamed in the air and ran back in.
The pieces of paper traveled through the air and on the ground. You could still see the words written one them.
