Love Isn't Always Fair

The smell of her mothers well known French toast reached her nose. Slowly Sadie opened her eyes, it was peaceful, for a second she closed her eyes again, smiling to herself. The dream she had was the best by far.
~loud alarm noise followed with occasional vibrating sounds~ Sadie snapped her eyes opened and reached out for her phone to turn her alarm off. Of course, a good morning has to be ruined she thought. She rubbed her eyes and sat up in her bed waiting for her eyes to gain focus.
Her door slammed open as her dad stormed in demanding her awake
"Its 7.20, you were supposed to be up 20 minutes ago!"
Sadie just murmured under her voice, the curtains flew open and the light flooded the room and Sadie's eyes, her father sent her a killing look with his eyes. "Get up." he walked towards the door and realise that she had turned the cross on her wall upside down. He sighed in anger and flipped it upright and continued to walk out and slammed the door behind him. She closed her eyes and sighed. Looked toward the door and then the other side of the room and attempted to get out of bed but instead fell on the floor. Laughing to herself she pulled herself up using the bed and walked to the cross to turn it the other way. She smiled and walked to her wardrobe and pulled out the red skinny jeans, black vest shirt and converse. When she was changed she put her make up on, the usual dark eyes & foundation. She took about 10 minutes doing her hair and as she walked out her room she grabbed the bracelets she always wore.
She sat at the table in silence whilst her family just watched her in despise. She felt awkward but thankfully the minutes went by quickly, she stood up and walked out the door quietly grabbing her bag and getting into her Jeep.
She drove to her friends house as always and honked the horn when she walked out in skin tight shorts and a low cut white shirt with sunglasses and sandals on.
"Any occasion?" Sadie asked
Hailey giggled and got into the Jeep and Sadie drove them to school.
Sadie parked in the normal spot and Hailey jumped out and ran to her other friends screaming about some of the guys in the school, where as Sadie looked over to the building and saw her bestfriend stood waiting for her in the shadows, he looked up at her with a smirk.
She smiled and got out the car and walked up to him, he opened his arms up and she ran into them embracing him. She looked up at him resting her chin on his chest
"Hey kitten" he smirked.
"I can't believe its your last day Andy" she said with a sigh,
"You'll be fine, plus I'll call you everyday" he smiled.
"You better" she grinned. They stepped away from the hug and walked into the building together.
Sadie had art and design first and Andy walked her to the room
"Y'know, you didn't have to walk me here." she smiled
"I know I didn't" he laughed
"Your class the complete opposite end of the campus, this was a waste of a journey, idiot" she said sticking her tongue out at him.
"It wasn't a waste, I'm spending as much time as I can with you today, don't want you forgetting me now do I?" he smirked again.
She laughed and walked into class leaving him at the door watching her, he smiled and waved at the girls in her class waving to him trying to grab all his attention.
Sadie saw the girls and just laughed at them.
The class dragged on and on but, its what Sadie loved doing, she was able to block out all the snide comments the other girls made at her.

The next couple of lessons went by quick, it was finally time for lunch, she met Hailey, Andy and some of Andy's friends for lunch, they sat on the grass then Andy noticed that Sadie wasn't eating anything.
He looked her " How come you're not eating" he asked.
"Uh, not hungry I guess" she sheepishly replied.
He shook his head "You need to eat something Say"
"I'm fine, honestly."
"Have some of my lunch" he offered
"Andy, I'm fine." She replied sternly
Hailey butted in "She doesn't have to eat if she doesn't want to Andy"
"So, you'll let her starve?" he asked
"Well no! But if she doesn't want food right now it doesn't matter." she threw a deviant look at him, he threw one straight back. The two never got along with each other.
"Guys, leave it" Sadie said softly.
"Please just have a little bit of food" He pleaded.
She sighed and quickly took one of his chips and ate it. She grinned at him and he shook his head "Better than nothing at least" he laughed

The bell went of to show its the end of lunch, the day was nearly over. Everyone had to attend the graduation ceremony, Sadie sat in the back quietly.
The speeches were over and they could all go, Sadie walked to her car thinking Andy would be celebrating with his friends, she started her car up when Andy ran out and came to her.
"Leaving me already?" he asked
She smiled "Thought you'd be partying by now"
"Not before I say goodbye to you"
He opened her door and hugged her straight away. She hugged back and sighed.
"I'm gonna miss you."
He sighed "Call me Say." He pulled away from the hug but before he quickly kissed her cheek. She smiled like the Cheshire cat
He closed the door and she backed out of the parking space, drove off without looking back at him, she didn't want him to see how much she had blushed.
