The next morning, I woke up to the sound of scratching and pounding at my door. I sat up, rubbing my eyes and gazed over at my alarm clock.

4:30 am.

"Who could possibly want to see me at 4 in the morning?" I asked out loud.

I climbed out of bed and stumbled over to the door. I placed my fingers around the handle, but before I could open it, it busted open, knocking me to the ground. Then, I heard someone screaming my name. I couldn't tell if what I was hearing was real or not, but the screaming got louder and louder, echoing through my head.

I crawled backward on the floor, trying to steady my balance. I gazed up at the intruder, not being able to identify the person.

"W-who is it?" I asked quietly. Suddenly, something hit me in the head, hard. Then, I heard my name one last time before everything went utterly, completely...dark.
