One year later…


Another year passed for the Black Veil Brides, and all continued to go well. Just over a year after getting married, Sammi found out she was pregnant with Jinxx’s baby and was due to have their little boy on July third. Jake and Ella had also tied the knot shortly after New Year’s, although they had yet to conceive a child of their own, and CC’d finally found another girlfriend, whom everybody swore would become his wife, after his breakup with Lauren.

Despite the rough beginning to their relationship, Andy and Ash were still happily married, thankful they’d managed to celebrate their first anniversary without splitting up. They’d had their ups and downs and a few fights here and there while both were sleep-deprived, but in the end, their loved conquered all thrown in its path. They were happier than anyone, especially their friends and bandmates, had ever remembered seeing them, and doubted anything could ruin what was between them. After all they’d been through together, they learned not to let the trivial things get to them and not to take each other for granted, that they could lose each other without a moment’s notice.

Legacy and Logan, now two and one, respectively, were happy and thriving. The older Biersack daughter was the girlie-girl, just as her mommy’d predicted her to be before her birth, while her sister was a bit more of a tomboy. Despite their differences, the sisters were close with a bond that no one thought could be broken, and had a love for music inspired by their parents. In fact, both girls were quite talented vocalists like Andy and were beginning to learn how to play guitar like Ash, even though they were so young.

“Have I told you recently how much I love you?” Andy asked, holding his sweetheart close as they watched their daughters play in the sandpit by the pool.

“Several times a day, but it never gets old,” the bassist answered, laughing when he kissed his temple.

“In that case, I’ll say it again. I love you so much, Ashley Abrocket Biersack,” he said, gently nuzzling his hair. “Just like I told you when Legacy was born, you’re the sun my solar system revolves around, and you mean everything to me.”

“You’re too sweet to me, Andrew Dennis Biersack,” he murmured shyly, ducking his head to hide the blush staining his cheeks behind his hair.

“Only because I was such an ass to you at first,” the frontman told him.

“You’ve long since made up for that,” he said, looking into the icy-blue eyes he loved.

“Doesn’t mean I have to go back to being an ass, though,” Andy chuckled, hugging him tight. “In fact, I’d rather not be an ass to you ever again.”

Smiling as he rested his head on his lover’s chest, his arms wrapped around his waist, Ash continued watching their daughters as he was held tightly. Back in 2011 before and even after finding out he was pregnant, he’d never thought he’d get to have the man he loved. He’d thought that he was destined to stay single forever, pining for a man he couldn’t have while raising the daughter they’d created.

They’d come such a long way since then, and even though they had an even longer road to travel ahead of them, nothing could stand in their way. With the love they’d secretly harbored for one another since they first met, they’d started a family that couldn’t be broken, no matter what obstacles they faced, and they were strong enough to overcome anything. Those thoughts made his smile turn into a grin as he realized that never again would he be alone and he had the things he’d always dreamt of: a spouse who loved and would lay down his life for him, and two precious daughters for whom he’d do the same. Now and for the rest of their days, they were literally living on love, and life couldn’t get better, and he was thankful.
