Pandora was now four months pregnant, she had started to experience morning sickness and it was probably the worst thing to wake up to. She now felt pregnant, and was beginning to look it. She had got her first baby bump and flipped out a bit, actually screaming and making Andy run in her bedroom in concern to only find out she had gotten a bump. He laughed at her for the longest time about that. Pandora was still deciding on letting her family know she was pregnant, she didn’t know how they would react to it and she was honestly afraid to find out. Collin was still being supportive with Pandora being pregnant by Ashley Purdy, he was still getting used to it but he was very supportive about it. He brought up the idea of Pandora moving in with him once the baby is born, but Pandora didn’t know what she was going to do yet, and Collin was supportive with that also. Ashley was getting more excited at the thought of becoming a father, when Pandora told him she had got her first bump, he realized how fast this pregnancy was going. They hadn’t decided on a name for either gender yet, all the band members and even Collin were giving Pandora ideas of girl names and boy names. Pandora nor Ashley could make up their mind on what names they liked best, they didn’t even know what the gender of the baby was yet. They talked about being surprised, but Ashley told her absolutely not, that he needed to know if he was going to have a daughter or son. So being surprised about the gender was completely out of the option, Pandora also agreed with Ashley on that one. She didn’t think she could handle not knowing what the baby was.
The sun was shining bright on a Saturday afternoon, it was beyond warm and Andy decided to sit outside that day. He poured himself a big glass of sweet tea and headed outside into the back yard, he sat down at the table close to the pool and pulled out his cell phone. He dialed his father’s number and put the phone to his ear waiting for his Dad to answer. Chris nor Amy knew about Pandora’s pregnancy, they’ve been keeping it a secret and slowly telling people since the band members were afraid it would get out to the press. That wouldn’t be good.
“Hello?” Came through Chris’s voice, Andy swallowed to clear his throat.
“Hey Dad, what’s up?”
“Nothing much, enjoying this heat. What about you?” Chris said, Andy kicked up his feet into the other chair and relaxed.
“The same, what’s mom doing?”
“I don’t know what she’s doing, she’s inside and I’m outside. I guess she’s cleaning, she was earlier.” Chris replied, Andy smiled.
“Sounds like mom, spring cleaning.” Andy said with a chuckle, Chris laughed.
“Sure does doesn’t it? So, how are you and Pandora?”
“I’m good, been getting ready for tour this summer. Pandora is good, um,” Andy said, going quiet for a second to sip his drink. “Speaking of Pandora, got something to tell you.”
“What’s that?” Chris asked, getting a bit suspicious with the tone of Andy’s voice.
“Well, um. She’s pregnant.”
Chris was quiet. “By you?”
“What, no Dad, not by me.” Andy said, widening his eyes in shock that his father would even guess that. Chris sighed.
“Oh okay, that’s a relief to me. By that boy she’s dating?”
“No. Keep guessing.” Andy said, he decided to let Chris guess since he was already doing that.
“No? Then I have no idea, tell me.”
“Ashley.” Andy replied, Chris went quiet again. He was quiet for such the long time that Andy thought the call dropped or something, but then he heard Chris take a breath.
“Ashley?”
“Yes Ashley Dad.”
“Ashley Purdy?”
“Yes that’s the only Ashley we know.”
“Ashley Purdy, the one with the Outlaw tattoo on his stomach? The bassist?”
“Yes Dad.” Andy replied.
“How did this happen?!”
“Well, I don’t know the exact date. And I don’t know all the details of how it happened, but it was back in January. Before she started dating Collin.” Andy replied, Chris was speechless.
“How far along is she?”
“She’s four months now.”
“Boy or girl?” Chris asked.
“I don’t know yet, and neither do they. But I know she’s got a doctor’s appointment Monday, so I guess they’ll know then.”
“Wow, I never thought Ash would become a father. I didn’t expect that Pandora would be the mother neither, wow. How is that boy she’s dating handling it?” Chris said, Chris wasn’t completely sure on Collin. He treated Pandora like she was his daughter, she was family now.
“He’s handling it pretty well actually, being supportive, still with her. So I guess he’s accepted it.”
“Well that’s good, what do the boys thinks of this?” Chris asked.
“They’re pretty excited now, at first I guess they were just as shocked as I was.”
“Do Pandora’s parents know about this yet?” Chris asked him.
“No not yet, I don’t know if she’s going to tell them or not. I’m afraid if the press finds out, or catches Pandora out in public with a pregnant belly and it comes out public, then they’ll find out.”
“If they start anything Andy, Ash would probably kill them.” Chris said, Andy nodded.
“He wouldn’t be the only one, if they start or try to contact her. I’ll talk her into changing her cell phone number and if they start showing up, then I’ll just call the police and put a restraining order against them.”
“Well I respect that decision, you have to do what you have to do to keep her protected from that. She’s pregnant now and doesn’t need that stress, stress isn’t good.” Chris said, he knew about pregnancy of course.
“Pretty sure the entire band would step in if they started.”
“I wouldn’t doubt it if the army stepped in as well.” Chris said, Andy chuckled.
“Wonder how the army will take it if they found out.”
“Oh I can only imagine, I’m pretty sure there’s Purdy girls out there somewhere. Like there’s Biersack girls, Ferguson girls, Pitts girls and Coma girls.” Chris said, laughing as he said it.
“Hell, you know it. Well Dad, I’m going to get off of here and get ready to pick Pandora up from work in an hour.” Andy said.
“Yeah I’m going to finish the yard work, and I’ll pass the news to your mother.” Chris said, Andy chuckled at the thought of his mother finding out. She loved Pandora, and loved babies.
“Good luck with that, I’ll call you guys soon. Love you both, bye.”
“Love you too son, bye.” Chris said, the phone call ended and Andy laid his phone down on the table. Andy relaxed after the phone call and ended up falling asleep in the chair with his feet kicked up and his head resting on his hand, it didn’t look very comfortable to sleep that way, but it seemed like he didn’t mind it. He snored just a bit, not loud though. The wind was blowing just a bit, but it was a warm wind, so it didn’t wake Andy up. A few minutes past and Andy’s nap was interrupted with his cell phone ringing, his eyes snapped open and he looked around his surroundings in confusion. He didn’t remember falling asleep at all, he ran his fingers through his hair and looked at his cell phone. He picked it up and saw it was a text from Pandora, he looked at the time and saw it was 3:35.

Pandora: Hey Andy, where are you at? Did you forget about me? ):

Andy: Never in a million years would I forget about you, I fell asleep but I’m on my way now. Wait for me.


Andy stood up, pushing his phone into his back pocket and grabbing his glass. He headed inside to see Crow standing on the island, she looked hungry and Andy smiled. He fed her quickly and left shortly after, he hopped into the mustang and started the ignition. He put the mustang in reverse and backed down the driveway, he put the mustang in drive and drove out. He turned on the radio and turned up the volume and listened to whatever was playing as he drove to the grocery store.
He pulled into the grocery store’s parking lot and pulled up in front of the building, see Pandora getting up from a bench and approach the mustang. She hopped inside and smiled at Andy, before putting on her seat belt.
“Sorry that I didn’t pick you up sooner, I just passed out.” Andy said, driving off.
“It’s alright, nap good?”
“A bit, so how was work?” Andy said, his eyes not leaving the road.
“Exhausting, I want to go home and nap.” Pandora said, then she yawned. Andy smiled, he guessed she was tired, she looked it and even sounded like it.
Once they got home, Pandora headed into the kitchen to look for a snack while Andy followed her to put his keys up. She opened the refrigerator and looked at the shelves, seeing a carton of eggs, milk, orange juice, mountain dews, cokes, leftovers, lunch meat, cheese, yogurt and other things. Andy sat down at the island with a smile on his face, watching Pandora grab the lunch meat, mustard, mayonnaise, cheese and a jar of pickles, then she grabbed ketchup. He watched her get the bread from the cabinet and then started to build her sandwich, he chuckled.
“I know your pregnant, but why in the hell did you need ketchup?” Andy said, Pandora smirked.
“To dip the pickles in.” Pandora replied, laying the lunch meat on the bread.
“Oh, I should’ve guessed that.”
“Yes you should have.” Pandora said with a smile, focusing on her sandwich as her mouth began to water in hunger.
“So, when are you finding out the gender of the baby?”
“Monday morning.” Pandora replied, Andy nodded.
“Who are you taking?”
“Collin said he’ll take me, and Ashley said he’s going to meet us there.” Pandora replied, grabbing the other bread and putting her sandwich together, she opened the cabinet and grabbed a plate.
“Awesome, I’ll be sleeping.” Andy said, sticking his tongue out and making her laugh.
“Want to trade?”
“Yeah, you can sleep and I’ll take your stomach and let you know what your having.” Andy said, of course he was just kidding, Pandora laughed.
“Sounds good to me.” She sat down with him and took a big bite of her sandwich, while she chewed, Andy picked up the house phone to see if anyone called since he was gone. No one had, so he placed the phone back on the charger and watched Pandora eat. While he did, he started to get hungry and ended up making him a sandwich too…
