Pregnant?! Oh my god no! Pandora thought, tears willed up in her eyes and she took a deep breath as her heart pounded fast. At first she thought the pregnancy test was false, but she knew that couldn’t be possible, pregnancy tests don’t give out false positives. As the new information soaked in, tears started to flood her cheeks and eventually she found herself sitting on the floor with her head between her knees, sobbing. She didn’t know what to do now, she was a eighteen year old girl who lived in a celebrity’s house with no house of her own, she just recently started a job so she didn’t have a lot of money in her bank account. She couldn’t move out just yet, and she didn’t want to put her and the unborn baby on Andy. He has a lot of stuff to deal with right now, the band, tours, just all of that. And when she moved in, it was just her and that was fine, and now she’s pregnant and she couldn’t expect Andy to help keep her up.
“Pandora, you home?” Andy called from her bedroom, her head snapped up and she looked at the door, hoping and praying she locked the door. She saw the door knob turn and the door never opened, then Andy knocked on the door. “Pandora?”
“Hold on, I’ll be out in a minute.” Pandora said, wiping her tears away immediately and getting up. She hid the pregnancy test box under the bathroom sink under the towels, and hid the pregnancy test along with the box. She looked in the mirror, and fixed her running mascara and unlocked the door, she pulled the door open and saw Andy standing there.
“Have you been crying?” Andy asked, seeing her cheeks red.
“Um, no.” Pandora replied nervously, Andy knew something was up.
“You can tell me you know?”
Pandora nodded. “Yeah I’m fine Andy, what’s for dinner?” She was changing the subject, she wasn’t going to tell him just yet.
“Um, I don’t know yet, that’s why I was looking for you. What are you craving?” Andy said, Pandora tensed at the word craving, reminding her of the pregnancy.
“I don’t know, anything would be good for me.”
“Well, let’s go find something, because I’m hungry.” Andy said, walking away with Pandora behind him.
They just popped a cheese pizza in the oven and planned watching movies all night, Pandora was in the living room getting the couch ready for movie night while Andy was in the kitchen getting the pizza out of the oven. Pandora still couldn’t get the thought of her being pregnant out of her head, she found herself getting lost in thoughts very easily, but tried to pretend nothing was on her mind.
“Pizza is done.” Andy said, entering the living room and handing her a plate. She took it and watched him flop down on the couch and kick his feet up on the coffee table, Pandora smiled softly and sat down beside him. “What movie are we watching?”
“Now you see me.” Pandora replied, picking up her pizza.
“What kind of damn movie is that?”
“Don’t judge the movie yet, it hasn’t even started.” Pandora told him, taking a bite of her pizza.
“Fine, but if I don’t like it, we’re watching something else.”
Pandora finished chewing her pizza and replied. “Alright Andrew.”
“And don’t call me Andrew neither, you know that irritates me.” He said, picking up his pizza and taking a huge bite.
The movie ended and Andy started clapping, making Pandora giggle. “Encore! Encore!”
“Did you like it?”
“It was pretty interesting.” Andy replied, Pandora giggled.
“What movie now?”
“I don’t know, surprise me.” Andy told her, she got up and walked over to the entertainment center and started to look through his movies. “I want to watch batman.”
Pandora sighed and picked up The Dark Knight Rises. “This?”
“Hell yes! Put it in!” Andy said excitedly, Pandora pushed the DVD into the DVD player and walked back to the couch. She sat down beside him and pressed play on the remote and the movie began, Andy turned off the lamp on the table beside the couch and the room became dark and he pulled up a blanket, covering them both up. Pandora laid her head against his arm and he laid his head against hers, as the movie started Pandora started to doze off and before the ending, she was asleep. Andy looked at her, seeing her sleeping peacefully. He smiled and slid his hands under her, pulling her into his lap and picking her up in a bridal style. He carried her upstairs to her room like she weighed nothing and laid her down on the neatly made bed, he picked up a small blanket folded neatly at the end of her bed and covered her up. She didn’t wake up neither, so he kissed the top of her forehead and walked away. Closing the door behind him..



Pandora woke up on her side, she was a little confuse at first and realized she was in her bed. She didn’t remember going to bed last night, so she figured she fell asleep downstairs on the couch. She laid there for a second, looking at her window as the sunshine shined through the window and lit up the room. Then the thought clouded her mind once again.
I’m pregnant.
She rolled over onto her back and looked up at the white ceiling, and stared at it for what seemed like hours until she finally decided to get up. The digital clock on her nightstand told her it was ten thirty, she walked out of the bedroom, not hearing anything so she knew Andy was still asleep. She headed downstairs and fixed her a bowl of Lucky Charms, she sat quietly at the bar as she ate in thought.
I guess I should call the Doctor to make an appointment, I don’t really know who to call, I guess the hospital. Pandora thought, having a conversation with herself in her mind. What would Collin say about it?
“Morning.” Andy’s deep voice said behind her, she jumped slightly and smiled.
“Morning, sleep good?”
“Ah, yeah a bit,” Andy said, opening the refrigerator door and grabbing the carton of orange juice. They always had orange juice, Andy liked it, a lot. “What about you?”
“Yeah I slept pretty good.”
“Good, I’m going to go have lunch with Mom today so you’ll be home alone for a little bit.” Andy said, Pandora nodded and was actually relieved she’ll be alone.
“That’s cool, where are you guys going to eat at?”
“I have no idea, but Mom said she’ll figure it out.” Andy replied, then taking a long sip of orange juice.
“Hopefully it’s something you’ll like.” Pandora said, getting up from the stool and putting her bowl in the sink.
“That’s exactly what I’m thinking.” Andy said, then he smiled.
The next few hours, Andy spent his time getting ready to go have lunch with Amy, and by one twenty, Pandora was home alone in her bedroom. She sat on the bed with her cell phone against her ear, calling the Doctor’s to make an appointment. A woman answered and Pandora felt her heart skip a deep, she swallowed hard and looked down.
“Hi, um. I’m wanting to make an appointment.”
“Okay, what are you wanting to get checked out?” The woman asked, her voice was soft and gentle.
“I’m, um.. Pregnant.” Pandora said, not knowing what information the woman needed
“Okay, what’s your name ma’am?”
“Pandora Chambers.” Pandora replied, feeling her hands shaking.
“Your appointment will be on the tenth at eight thirty in the morning, hope to see you soon.” The woman said, Pandora thanked her and hung up.
Wow, that was easy. She thought, she had decided not to tell anyone until after the doctor appointment. She just hoped no one will question it, or find out until then..



March 10, Monday morning.
It was great that Pandora had to work today so Andy didn’t question where she went at eight thirty, she talked to her manager and she told Pandora to come in after the doctor’s appointment, even though she didn’t know why Pandora was going to the doctor’s. Pandora walked into the doctor’s office in her uniform, her heart was beating fast as she approached the desk to talk to a woman. The woman looked up, she wore glasses and had her dirty blonde hair in a ponytail and Pandora guessed she was in her late twenties.
“How can I help you?” The woman asked Pandora nicely.
“I have an doctors appointment at eight thirty, I’m Pandora Chambers.”
“Ah yes Pandora, we were expecting you. Go ahead and have a seat and a nurse will call for you when the doctor is ready to see you.” She said, Pandora nodded and took a seat apprehensively. There were some other women there waiting also, and Pandora couldn’t help but to think they were here for the same reason she was.
“Pandora Chambers.” A female nurse called, Pandora stood up awkwardly and followed the nurse to a room where she sat on the table/bed thing, waiting for her doctor. She hoped and prayed it was a female, she didn’t know if she was comfortable with a male doctor. Suddenly the door open and in walked a female with black hair, pale skin and brown eyes. She smiled and closed the door, and approached Pandora to shake her hand.
“Hello Pandora, I’m Anne and I’ll be your doctor throughout this pregnancy.” Anne said, taking a seat in a chair with a clipboard in her lap.
“Hi Anne.” Pandora said apprehensively, Anne smiled.
“No need to be nervous Pandora, I know what your going through. I was a nervous wreck when I had my first child, I’m going to start asking some questions real quick. Okay?”
Pandora nodded and Anne smiled. “How old are you?”
“Eighteen.” Pandora replied, Anne started to write on her clipboard.
“Full name?”
“Pandora Skylan Chambers.” Pandora replied, watching Anne’s right hand fumble as she wrote.
“When was your last menstrual cycle?” Anne asked, Pandora sighed and started to think.
“January fifteenth.” Pandora said, questioning her answer herself, but she knew it was sometime around there.
“Have you took a pregnancy test?”
Pandora nodded. “Yes, and it was positive.”
Anne nodded. “Were you on birth control?”
“No, I wasn’t.”
Anne smiled softly. “Honey, why weren’t you on birth control?”
Pandora sighed softly and looked down at her hands awkwardly. “I didn’t really think about it, after I left my parents house, that thought never crossed my mind I guess.”
Anne nodded. “Some girls aren’t on birth control, but some are. But it would be best to get you on some, after the pregnancy of course. Was there any protection involved?”
Pandora nodded. “Yes a condom.”
“Good, at least you both tried. Now, do you know what your going to do with this baby?”
Pandora shook her head side to side, getting annoyed with herself that she was answering with her actions and then her words. “Not yet, the father doesn’t even know yet..”
“Well Pandora, just from what I can tell by your last menstrual cycle. You‘re ten weeks pregnant. Do you have any questions?” Anne said, Pandora nodded.
“How long will it be until I start to show?”
“That depends, if you’re not showing now, I am guessing you’ll start showing at three or four months.” Anne replied, Pandora nodded, this was so weird to her, talking about her first pregnancy. She couldn’t think of anymore questions at the moment, so Anne gave Pandora her number just in case she does have anymore questions, and then Anne walked her back to the waiting room. The appointment went smoothly, and when she arrived at the grocery store, she found out Collin was off work because he had came down with a cold. So that was the first time Pandora rang up the groceries, and it was a lot easier than bagging. The day went by smoothly, but slow and once Pandora got into her mustang she pulled out her cell phone.
It was time to tell the father, and she was beyond nervous. She went to her contact list and hovered her thumb over the number, she pressed it quickly and her phone started to dial Ashley’s number..
