Fallen Angels

“You summoned me?” Raziel asked as she landed.
“Why did she do it?” I asked as I approached her.
“Who do what?” she asked innocently.
“Don’t play coy. You know who and you know what. You know all of Heaven, Hell, and Earth’s secrets.” I told her, crossing my arms.

“Yes but you also know I am bound and burdened. I cannot tell any of the secrets they are my burden to bear. If that is all you called me here for, I have far more pressing matters.” She turned to leave by I grabbed her arm.
“I know you can’t tell me outright but I have some questions. Is she safe?” I asked, concern laced my voice.
“Yes. If you are going to ask questions, you better ask the right ones and do it fast.”
“I saw a vision, was it really her leading them.” I asked, frantic for an answer.
“Yes and no.”
“What do you mean?”
“That is the wrong question Andrew, you are running out of time.”
“Can I save her before it happens?”
“That matter is completely up to you. Now I must go. It is chaos in Heaven and it is taking all we have to keep Eve under control. Goodbye Andrew, Godspeed and good luck. You are awakening” She said and then she was gone in a blink.

“Damn it!” I shouted to the now empty space. “I am left with more questions than answers.”
“Andy we need to do something and fast. Raziel was right. Heaven is in bad shape. Eden is nearly gone.” Vic told me as he wrapped an arm around Orion.

We angles all knew what that meant. If Eden was destroyed, we would all die. We were all linked to Eden since it was where we were created. If it perished, so did we. I nodded to show him I had heard. “Call a meeting for tonight after training. I want them to meet me in the arena. Everyone must attend humans and angels alike. They will forgo patrol until after the meeting.” I commanded as I took to the sky.

I had no idea where I was going but I needed to get away for a while. I flew until I spotted a familiar place, Alese and I’s pond. I dove right in. The water was warm and refreshing. I stayed under for what seemed like ages. After about two minutes I found it weird that I did not have a suffocating feeling or even have the need for air. I decided to test myself and see how long I could stay under. After about ten minutes I swam to the surface, baffled. How had I managed to stay underwater for over ten minutes?

I climbed out and went to walk to my house when I remembered; I didn’t have a house anymore. I went to take my shirt off to ring it out when I saw steam rise from my body and I started to warm up. The next thing I know, my clothes are dry. I am now freaking out, what is going on with me?

I needed answers and I need them now. I flew to Vic’s house but neither him nor Orion were in sight. I flew to the area and saw Orion’s red hair. I landed next to her and she stopped fighting and gave me a questioning glance. “Where is Vic?” she pointed in his direction. I walked over to him and whispered. “Urgent matters.” He nodded and put away the sword he was using and we flew to his house, Orion following.

“What’s wrong?” Vic asked as soon as we were in his house.
“I just sat under water for over 10 minutes and when I came out my body heated up enough to dry my clothes! I don’t know what’s going on!” I shouted frantically. As my temper faired, I could hear the wind outside going crazy.

“Andy calm down.”
“Calm? How can I be calm? I don’t know what the hell is going on!” as soon as I said that, a violent wind shook the house. Vic looked to Orion who walked in front of me and grabbed my head in her hands and stared right into my eyes.

Within a few seconds I started to feel drained of energy and tired. The wind died down and she let me go. I slumped down onto the couch and looked up at Vic, defeated.

“I think you have stumbled across some new powers.” Vic told me as he examined me. He closed his eyes and hummed for a while. “Orion come here.” He instructed. He took her hand and placed it right over my chest and closed his eyes again.

In just a few seconds Orion gasped and pulled her hand away. “I have never felt anything like it.” She told Vic, amazement in her eyes.
“That’s what I though.” Vic said.
“What? What is it? Tell me?” I asked, looking at both of them for answers.
“There was so much power. All I could feel was raw energy inside of you, just waiting to come out. The best way I can put it is like there is a wild storm inside of you just waiting to be released.”

Great, now I was even more confused. “I don’t understand.” I said.
“I think this is what Raziel meant by you are awakening. Andy I think you are about to become very powerful.”
“How? Why haven’t these powers shown themselves before?”
“I think they were only meant to be awakened for a time like this.”

Right then a horn sounded, signaling the ending of training. It was also the signal for the meeting I had ordered everyone to attend. I sighed and got up. I was worried because I had no idea what I was now capable of.

“Let’s go.” I ordered as I walked out the door. Vic and Orion took to the air and followed me to the arena. Angels and humans alike were piling in. I flew to the front and landed on one of the posts of the fence. I paced back and forth on it while everyone came in.

Vic, Orion, Ashley, Jesse, Jinxx, Seripha, Jake, Ellie, Mike, Maya, Jack, Alex, CC, and Carla all joined me at the front. It was so quite you could hear a pin drop. They all looked to me for answers. I had answers but I wasn’t sure how many of them really wanted them.

I waited until everyone was in a situated before I flew over the crowd and started.

“As all of you know, we are in a battle between Heaven, Earth, and Hell. Our homes have become a battle ground. We have nowhere to go and nowhere to run to. We only have each other to look to. We have played defense for quite a while now. They have attacked us and we have pushed them back. They think they can just walk all over us and play us for fools. Well I am here to say that it ends today! We are going to take our homes back! We are going to reclaim what is ours! Lucifer had no right taking from us what he did! We can no longer sit back and take it! We must move to offence before it is too late! We have to make a stand and fight for it is now or never! We shouldn’t have to live in fear! We shouldn’t have to worry about when they will attack next, NO! This is our world and it’s time we take control! We will reclaim what is ours; we will avenge all of those we have lost! The time is now! I need each and every one of you to stand with me and help win this war! It won’t be easy and some will lose their lives but we can no longer take this. IT IS OUR TIME!” my voice rang over the crowd.

It was quite as I finished but a single voice rang out among the crowd, “Prophet.” Within seconds cheers rippled through the crowd. “Prophet, Prophet, Prophet.”

“We march at dawn!” I shouted as I flew back to the front.

Holy shizz, writing that speech got me fired up. Let's go fight Lucifer guys, whose with me? Lol wow o.O
