“Awe did I miss my part?”

As soon as I heard that voice I instinctively pushed Alese behind me. I looked to Vic who had his eyes closed and was mumbling under his breath.

“What do you want and how did you even get in here?” I asked as he continued to walk up the isle to us.
“Oh I’m not really here it’s just a projection of me. Clever really, my magik user came up with it. Cleaver little thing she is. You can tell Vic to stop; there is nothing he can do. I’m not here to hurt anyone. I just came to see my baby girls wedding. I am truly offended no one invited me.” Lucifer said now standing right in front of us.
“So sorry it must have gotten lost in the mail.” I spat at him. “What do you want?”
“To come to my little girls wedding. It’s not every day that she gets married ya know?” he said trying to sound sincere.

I growled and went to lunge at him, projection or not, but Alese stopped me and shook her head.

“Leave this is no place for you.” Alese said stepping around me to face Lucifer.
He looked hurt, “But my dear..”
“No, leave now. This is my wedding and you are ruining it.”

While they were arguing I turned to Mike. “Find where this is coming from and destroy it. It has to be from outside the barrier.” He nodded and snuck off. I turned my attention back to the matter at hand.

“You know you place child. You better just hand yourself over to me and I might spare you friends.”
“No I don’t care what you ‘made’ me for, I have made a choice and that choice is to save Heaven from you!”
“SILENCE! You have tried my patience for too long. I am tired of waiting. You belong to me girl…” Whatever else he was going to say was cut short because he suddenly disappeared. Everyone looked around confused until Mike showed up with a smile on his face and something in his hands. He threw it to his brother and just walked to Maya and gave her a kiss.

“Isn’t it time for the reception?” Ashley asked after a few minutes of awkward silence.

I turned to Alese and whispered in her ear, “We don’t have to if you don’t want to baby.”
She turned to me and put both her hands on either side of my face, “I am NOT going to let this ruin our day.” She kissed me and turned to everyone, “Let’s go cut the cake!”

They let out a cheer and we headed to the make shift reception area. Jack and Alex had managed to turn the training arena into a reception area with the help of a few others. Alese and I flew hand in hand with the others behind us. We landed on the make shift stage that held our cake.

We had a toast and we cut the cake. I shoved it in her face before she even had a chance to realize what was going on. However that was a huge mistake because then all the girls attacked me for getting cake on her dress, needless to say I had more cake on me than then I think was even made.

We celebrated on into the night, dancing, singing, drinking, and eating. At one point Raziel told me she had to go and we said our goodbyes and continued on. Everyone knew this would be the last chance to relax for the next day, we went to war.


I don’t remember how Alese and I got home but I woke up in my bed with my wife in my arms. I kissed her cheek and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. About halfway through she came in and snaked her arms around my waist and just stood there as I cooked. We ate breakfast and got ready oh so slowly.

However we couldn’t put it off any longer because Vic came knocking at the door. “The camp is stirring. We need to move.”

I nodded, “Get everyone to the weaponry.” He took to the air. I turned to Alese, “Baby please stay, I don’t want him to be able to get you. You will be safe here.”
“No Andy I can fight. I will be of more use to you out there than sitting here doing nothing and worrying about you.”
“Alese..” She kissed me before I could go on pleading.
“No Andy I’m going and that’s final.”

With that last statement she took to the air and I had no choice but to follow. We landed at the weaponry to find Jack and Alex already pulling out weapons and getting ready. Jack had a hammer and Alex had a shield big enough to cover him and Jack and he had a sword. When they saw Alese they gave her a smile and pulled her sword out of its hiding spot and gave it to her. She unsheathed it and tested its weight and balance. She smiled to herself and put it back in the sheath and connected it to her hip.

I walked back and grabbed both my swords, placing them on my back and waited. Jesse and Ashley were the next to show up. Jesse was decked out in all her weapons; she had a bow and arrow on her back and throwing stars at her waist and I’m pretty sure she had some knives in her boots. Ashley’s weapon of choice was of course his magik, but he liked to keep a short sword on his person in battle just in case. Maya and Mike were the next to show up. Maya wasn’t going into battle with us because she was still healing, but she was the one I was leaving in charge in case anything happened. Mike would be playing messenger since he was so good at stealth. Maya grabbed her gun that we kept in the weaponry and loaded it up. Mike preferred to use a spiked whip. Jake and Ellie were next. Jake grabbed his double sided axe and Ellie grabbed a short sword and a dagger. CC and Carla showed up with Jinxx and Seripha. CC grabbed and axe and handed a bow to Carla. Jinxx grabbed his lance. He used his magik to charge it up so if you got hit with it, not only were you getting stabbed but electrocuted as well. Seripha grabbed her halberd, a knife she put in her boot, and an axe she slung across her back. Vic and Orion were the last to show up. Neither of them needed a weapon but Jack and Alex handed them a knife just in case.

Maya was staying in the sanctuary but would be on the lookout as Mike relayed messages. Jesse, Ellie, Carla, and Jinxx would be on the back line fighting from a distance and keeping anyone from getting past them. Alese, CC, Vic, and Ashley were the next line. On the front lines was me, Seripha, Orion, Jack and Alex, and Jake. Mike was going to be bouncing everywhere. It had also been decided that we would take half the other angels and leave the rest to guard the sanctuary.

Everyone was suited up and we were in our positions. I looked back and everyone nodded.

It was time.

Okay so I have a legit reason as to why this took so long, are you ready to hear it? Mi roomie and I had to move so I have been moving shit since Friday. We finally finished at 1 this morning! So hopefully we stay there for a while now.

So now all the fun is about to start. What do you think is going to happen? Are they going to win or fail??
