I Need You
Two Years Later?
"Andy, what is wrong with you? Lately you've been all kinds of sad" my mom said to me.
"I don't know mom. I'm feeling weird" I expressed to her.
"Andrew, honey you know you can tell me what's on your mind" she smiled.I sighed. "Mom it's complicated. I've never really felt like this" I took a deep breath. "I met this girl..."
"Oh, sweetie, that's wonderful..."
"No mom" I interrupted her. "I met this girl after one of our shows" I told her.
"Oh" she whispered.
"Two years ago..." I continued.
"Oh my; Andrew..."
"I know mom. I'm wasting my time even thinking about her. But I can't stop. Ever since I bumped into her, I think about her hair, her eyes, and her smile. She was perfect. And it's just really upsetting to know that I'll probably never see her again..." I expressed.
"Aw, Andrew. Honey I'm sorry to hear that. It seems to me that you fell in love with her when you saw her. Cliché? Maybe it sounds like that, but Andrew, that sort of thing does happen" my mouth was literally hanging open when she was saying this. Love? What the hell is she speaking of?
"Love at first sight?" I questioned.
"Yes Andrew. Love. At least that's what it sounds like to me" she explained.
"Well that scares me a bit. How the hell do I deal with this? I need to see her again. But when the fuck is that ever going to happen" I frowned.
"Have faith, dear. If it's meant to be, you'll find her again" she smiled at me.
"Thanks mom" I smiled back.
"Anytime sweetheart" she hugged me and a held her tightly.
"Love you, mom" I smiled.
"Love you too, Andrew" she replied.
