Chapter Twenty-one
Develin's POV
I ripped myself off of him. 'What?' I asked. 'Marry me. Become my wife so I will know you will forever stay with me.' Ashley said looking into my eyes. I looked away. I have seen alot, "lived" for many centries but never I thought about marriage. Ashley was still waiting patiently. I sighed. 'Sorry Ash. I'm not saying no only for some time to think about it. I never thought about marriage so.' I said. Ashley nodded and pulled me back in his arms. 'Take as long as you need. I will wait.' He said and kissed my head. I nodded and snuggled closer to him slowly falling asleep.
The next morning I woke up to some warm liquid between my legs. I removed the covers and saw blood everywhere. 'Aaaah!' I screamed. Ashley quickly shot up and looked at me. 'What's wrong babe?' He asked but then looked and saw the blood. He held up his nose. 'What the hell is this?' I asked. Ashley looked confused at me. 'What you never had a period?' He asked shocked. This time I was the one to look confused. Ashely sighed. 'Stay where you are. I'm going to call Sammi.' he said and got out off bed. I still looked in schock at the blood. What was this for witchcraft?
When Sammi came I was sitting on the toilet what she had recommended. 'Hey Dev can I come in?' She asked. 'Yeah sure.' I answerd. My belly hurted. She came in with a box of something. She opend the box and gave me one of the flaps. 'Here open this and put it in your panties.' I obeyed. 'And now?' 'Nothing just change it evry two to three hours and you will be fine. It's normal really. It means that one of your eggs died and that has to come out of your body, no big deal. Every woman has it.' She explained. I nodded. I putted my panties and jeans back on, washed my hands and walked with Sammi downstairs to see the rest of the guys.
When Ashley saw me he grabbed my hand and dragged me to the kitchen. 'Ash I'm so sorry for the mess. I will clean it up.' I said. 'Hey don't worry about it. But I do need to ask you, why didn't you know about this?' He asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist. 'Probably because I have been dead for 578 years. Its liek your frozen. But since God made me human again this shit happens I think.' I said while playing with his star necklace. Ashley nodded.
Ashley's POV
Okay I have to admit it was kinda gross this morning but I felt happy. If she had a period it would mean she can have kids. If she agrees to marry me maybe we can make a little Purdy. I hugged Develin tighter to me and burried my head in her neck smiling. I hoep she says yes. I mean she belongs with me. God didn't hate me after all because he gave me Develin.
I took my head away from her neck and kissed her lightly. My life is going to be amazing with Develin with me I can face evrything in this world!
