Almost Unbreakable

"What are you going to get?" I asked, leaning over to Daisy. She was sitting in between Matt, and I, looking at her menu.

"I don't know, I've never been here before." She mused, looking up at me.

"Hmm your a vegatarian right?" I asked, remembering our first date all those years ago. I had asked her if she wanted steak, and she just laughed, and informed me she didn't eat any meat.

"Yes I am." She giggled, "You still remember after all these years?"

"Of course." I smiled. "How about you get Grilled Vegetables?"

"Ooh that sounds good." She said, and folded her menu back up. I kissed her temple, and folded mine. I slid my arm around the back around her chair, and I felt her press into my side.

"So Daisy, your writing with Rock Forever?" Ella asked her.

"Yeah, I just started." She said, taking a sip of her water.

"And that's where you met Andy?" Sammi asked. Ella, and her were close, they finished each other's thoughts, and sentences.

"Oh no actually Andy, and I knew each other a while ago." Daisy muttered, looking up at me.

"They dated. She's the girl, Sam." Matt laughed.

"Oh!" Sammi exclaimed.

"I get the feeling you talked about me?" Daisy raised her eyebrow, and I felt myself blush.

"I-"

"Oh he never stopped!" Ashley groaned, "Literally, every conversation we had your name popped up. That's why when I saw that picture fall out of your notebook I knew that it was you. Because he truly never dated anyone else."

"Awh." Daisy bit her lip, looking up at me.

"Anytime he got a new tattoo for you." CC shook his head.

"Anytime out girlfriends came around." Jake said.

"Anytime we went on tour." Jinxx said.

"Anytime-" I cut Ashley off.

"I think she gets it, guys." I said, dropping my head on to her shoulder.

Daisy giggled, "Trust me I never stopped thinking about him, but I thought it was over so.."

"So?" Danny raised an eyebrow.

"My parents kind of, well they, set me up in a relationship. And we got engaged." Daisy bit her lip.

"And?" Ella pressed.

"Ella." I shook my head.

"No it's fine. We just recently broke up, because of Andy. Brett thought I had cheated on him, and he, uhm, hit me. So Andy picked me up, and I didn't go back." Daisy's eyes glassed over a bit, and I rubbed her arm.

"I'm so sorry." Ella said, looking at Jake, shock in her eyes. The table grew silent until the waiter came back, and we all ordered.

"Well," Matt said, "You guys are touring soon aren't you?"

I cleared my throat, and Daisy looked up at me, worriedly, "Yeah."

"Ohh, did I say something wrong?" His eyes went wide.

"No, I just haven't told Daisy yet." I swallowed harshly, looking at Matt angrily.

"When?" She asked.

"In a few weeks. It's over seas. I was going to ask if you want to come." I said, hating Matt for bringing this up.

"I'd have to ask at work." She said.

"Okay." I smiled, rubbing her back. I bit my lip, hoping she'd be able to come. I'd never forgive myself if something happened if I left her alone...
