We Don't Belong

Andy POV

I saw Charlotte running out of the house crying and immediately got out of the car and pulled her tightly into my arms.

"It's okay Charlotte. I promise. I've got you. Just calm down," I said as I ran my fingers through her long brown hair.

"I can't do this Andy," she said crying into my chest," my mom hates the fact that I am hanging out with you guys."

"It's okay. Shhhh.. just breathe," I said as I pulled her even closer to me and lightly kissed her forehead.

"Oh Andy. I am so glad to have you."

"I am even more glad to have you. You are probably the nicest, prettiest, and most talented girls I have ever met."

She smiled at my complement and said," thank you," as she hugged me.

I let go momentarily and looked deeply into her gorgeous brown eyes.

I took both of her hands in mine and said," Charlotte, will you go out with me?"

She threw herself back into my arms again and whispered," Yes, of course Andy, I thought you would never ask."

Charlotte POV

He finally did it! He finally asked me out!

I turned back to the house once more just in time to see that mom had been standing there the whole time. She just found out that Andy and I were now together.

Andy, seeing the worry on my face, said," What is it babe?"

"It is my mom..I am sure that she hates me now. She couldn't even stand the thought of me being friends with you. She is gonna kill me for going out with you."

"Charlotte, it will all be okay. I promise. We can talk about this later. Come on," he said as he opened my door for me," let's go meet Maxy and Brett."

"Okay Andy," I said as I got into my car and he walked around to the other side after closing my door for me.

On the way back to the mall, Andy turned on some Black Veil Brides and started to sing every word loudly, just to cheer me up.

"Come on Char," he said as he grabbed my hand," cheer up. Your mom will come around sooner or later."

A few minutes later we parked at the mall and went to find Maxy and Brett. Maxy had texted me and said that they were at a Chinese restaurant. We found them saving us a table.

Maxy saw that we were holding hands and excitedly said," are you guys finally together!?"

"Yes. We are," I said as a smile spread across my face.

"Yay! I'm so happy for you! Now, let's order, I want to have plenty of time to get ready for Escape the Fate. "

"Thanks Maxy. I am so glad that I got to know you guys."

The waitress came to the table and got our drink orders, and hurried off to the kitchen.

"So.. my mom doesn't want me to hang out with you guys.."

"Charlotte," Andy said grabbing my hand," I will personally talk to your mom. Hanging out with us and dating me were your decisions to make, not hers."

"Yeah Charlotte," Maxy said," we are here for you, no matter what."

"Thanks you guys. I just hope that my mom can accept the fact that you guys are my friends and that Andy is my boyfriend."

"She will get over it," Brett said smiling.

The waitress came back over with our drinks and then we all ordered. She hurried off to the kitchen once again to put our orders in.

All of a sudden, out of nowhere, Andy stood up in his chair and started singing 'Knives and Pens,' screams and all. Our waitress ran out with our food and harshly told Andy to sit down. She asked us to hurry up and eat so we could leave.

Andy sat down laughing just as hard as the rest of us. The manager was glaring at Andy with little beady eyes.

He whispered a little too loudly,"shit guys, we better hurry up and eat. Mr. Chow over there is giving us a death stare."

We all laughed and quickly ate our food. We payed and left the restaurant, Andy singing 'Knives and Pens' even louder this time. The manager yelled and we all simultaneously stuck our middle fingers up as we walked out of the restaurant.

We got out to the parking lot and Maxy said," Brett, I think I am gonna ride with Maxy. You and Andy can take my car."

"Okay babe," Brett said walking over to her and softly kissing her.

Andy walked over and pulled me into his arms. He whispered,"see you later beautiful."

I stood on my tiptoes and kissed his cheek. We watched as they walked towards Maxy's car. I couldn't stop myself from smiling as Maxy and I made our way to the car.

It seemed like forever since I had been this happy. I finally found my true self.
