Predator

Jinxx sprinted down the dimly lit hallway, gripping onto his shoulder in a vain attempt to stop the bleeding, though passing out from blood loss was currently the least of his worries. His legs were shaking from overexertion and his breathing was shallow but he pushed on, eventually spotting a suitable place to hide for the moment. Carefully, Jinxx made his way into the room, which looked like it had once been used as an office. The room had several bookcases lining the walls, a few filing cabinets, and a large, cluttered desk taking up nearly a quarter of the room. He softly eased the door closed and locked it, a feeble attempt at giving himself a sense of security even if it wouldn't do much good. Not with what was chasing him at least.

Jinxx limped over to the far side of the room, behind the office desk and file cabinet, and leaned exhaustedly against the wall just as his legs gave out from underneath him, sliding down the wall until he was sitting on the floor. He rested his cheek against the side of the cabinet, the cool metal feeling nice against his flushed skin.

With his good arm he peeled back the remnants of his shirt sleeve, feeling slightly nauseous at the sight of the jagged wound on his left shoulder. It wasn't deep enough that he could see bone, but it hurt like hell and would definitely need stitches later. If I even get out of here alive, he thought grimly.

His thoughts were interrupted by the dull roar of a chainsaw, though from what he could tell it must've been pretty far away at the moment. He heard distant screaming too, though he couldn't tell whose voice it was. Andy? Jake? He hadn't seen Ashley since this whole incident started, and no one knew where CC was. Hopefully they're all okay... Jinxx thought dully, no longer able to hope that this was just a bad nightmare. He shifted his position slightly so that he had a view of the door, unintentionally bumping his bad shoulder against the wall as he did so.

"Shit...." He whispered softly, pain shooting up his arm. Should probably try and wrap it with something soon... Closing his eyes, Jinxx released the breath he had unknowingly been holding, thinking back to where this all began. He had felt that something was wrong the moment they stepped on the bus. But the others didn't seem to notice or care, too tired from a night of partying to worry about anything. If they had listened to him maybe things would've turned out differently... but now wasn't really the time to point fingers.

Click....click.....click click......

Jinxx stared at the door with wide eyes, watching the door knob turn slightly as someone on the outside attempted to turn it, trying to get in. The sound got louder and more frantic and then there was silence. For a fleeting moment Jinxx hoped that the person had just moved on. His hopes died instantly however, as something hit the part of the door where the door knob was with a loud WHAM, causing Jinxx to flinch back in terror. The now-broken door knob fell to the floor with a clattering sound, and the door swung open slowly.

Jinxx screamed.












Author's Note: YO! So this is my first fanfiction on here, and it's gonna be a dark one. I'm not so good with romance unfortunately... Anyways, I know it's starting out in Jinxx's perspective but I plan on switching around between all five of them. I hope you like the story ^_^
