The Past was a Lie and the Future's a Bitch

Amy's P.O.V Date: December 1st

Lunch was great but the clean at afterwards never is. Why do we always use so many dishes when we cook?

As if he heard my thoughts Chris calls out from the living room asking, "Do you need any help honey?"

"No, I got it," I chuckled. "You just go on watching your shows."

"You sure," he pressed on.

"Yes," I reassure him.

"Ok just making sure," He calls out. "Don't want my beautiful wife over working herself."

"I don't think doing the dishes will be considered as 'over working' myself," I laughed.

"Well you never know," he says.

"Just go back to watching T.V," I yell at him.

"Yes mam." I could picture him doing a salute as he said it.

Gosh I love him. Even though he can be a major butt sometimes, I still love him.

I started to make a dint in the dishes when I heard the phone ring. I walked over and picked it up, expecting Andy to be on the other end. But it wasn't Andy.

"Hello," I said.

"Yes, is this the home of the Biersack family," a formal voice said.
"Yes it is," I said a little confused. "This is Amy Biersack, how may I help you?"

"Did you have a daughter, named Alexandria, go missing about 17 years ago?"

With that one question my heart felt like it stopped and tears started to wet my eyes. "Y-yes."

"We've found her," he said. "She's in Flor...."

"Is she ok," I asked not caring that I interrupted him. "Where is she? How did you find her?"

"Mam slow down I will answer your questions just give me some time," he said very calmly and nice. "She is in a Orlando, Flordia hospital because she got hit by a truck and we ran DNA test cause she was a Jane Doe. She should be ok but right now she's in a coma."

My heart sunk even lower but filled with joy all at the same time. She's alive but she's hurt and in a coma? How? Why? The tears came in full plast now as I sunk to the floor. I think Chris heard me because he came running into the room.

"What's the matter," he asked concerned.

I didn't trust my words so I just handed him the phone and pointed to my ear signaling for him to listen. Even though he listened to everything the man on the other end just told me, he held me while tears ran down my face.

When I looked up at him I saw tears coming from his eyes also. I got up and ran to our room. I got our suit cases out of the closet and started throwing everything thing in. I was going to see my daughter no matter what it took. I heard Chris coming up the stairs but it didn't stop me. When he got to the room he saw what I was doing and went to the bathroom and started to get our personal things. All together I think it took us about 10 minutes to get everything packed. Another 5 to make sure everything was turned off, locked up, and to get everything in the car and start it up.

We got to the airport and it costed a shitload to book a last minute flight to Orlando but who cares we were seeing our daughter after 17 years. And in another 2 hours we will.
