The Ladies Man

It was the end of February and Ashley and I were coming up on our six-month anniversary. So far we hadn’t really been celebrating the months as they passed. We would spend the day together and that was it. Simply enjoy being in each other’s company. But I had a feeling Ashley was planning something for this month. He told me over a week ago not to plan anything for this weekend. I tried to get him to tell me what he had planned, but he wouldn’t budge.
“What do you think it is?” Madison asked as we talked over the phone.
“I have no idea. I know we’re going somewhere. He told me last night that I needed to pack a bag for the weekend.” I said.
“Ooo, romantic getaway.”
I scoffed at that. “I highly doubt it. Ashley knows how I feel about overly romantic gestures.”
“Yeah, you hate them.” Madison sighed.
“I don’t hate them, I just don’t like them. They feel too sappy and unrealistic.” I said. “It would feel like a stupid movie.”
“You are the only woman I know who wouldn’t love that.” Madison said.
“Well, that’s just part of what makes me, me.” I replied.
“I know.” She laughed.
“Well, I gotta go. I need to start packing.”
“Tell me all about it when you get back.”
“I will. Bye Madison.”
“Bye Belle.”
I hung up and headed to our room to start packing. I had no idea where we were going, so I packed one of everything.

Ashley’s POV:

“I can’t believe this is what you’re doing for your six-month anniversary.” Jinxx said.
“Yeah, it doesn’t seem all that romantic to me.” Jake added.
“That’s cause it’s not supposed to be.” I said. “Trust me, Belle doesn’t like all that stuff. It makes her uncomfortable. I don’t know why, but I won’t argue.”
“Smart man.” Andy said.
“Yeah.” CC said. “So, this is what she’d want?” He asked skeptically.
“Trust me, she loves this stuff. And he’s one of her favorites. She is going to be so happy when we get there.”
“Sounds like you did your research.” Andy said.
“Yeah, and with his age, it’ll be one of those once in a lifetime experiences.” I replied.
“Is he dying or something?” CC asked.
“No, but he’s not touring anymore and his height of fame was in the 70s.” I explained. “I’m just glad he’s got this show going now.”
“Well, I hope the two of you have fun.” Jinxx said.
“Yeah, this is your weekend too.” Jake said.
“If Belle’s happy, trust me, I’ll be happy too.” I said with a smile. At least, that was the plan.

Belle’s POV:

We had just gone through security at the airport. Ashley was checking our bags and I was waiting for him to lead me to our gate. He still hadn’t told me where we were going. He said I had to try and figure it out on my own. Okay, so here’s what I know. I only packed for a couple of days, so chances were good that we weren’t going too far. We had to fly there, so it wasn’t anywhere in California. It also had to be on this side of the country, because we were only taking the one plane, no transfers. That left a lot of room for error.
“You ready?” Ashley came up to me and took my hand.
“Yeah, still trying to figure this out.” I replied.
“Any ideas?” He asked as we walked past the gates.
“Only that we’re not leaving the country, and we’re most likely staying in the western side of the States.”
“Good.” He smiled.
“So I’m right?”
“Yes.”
We finally turned and sat down in one of the waiting areas. I looked around for the name of the place we were flying to. I finally found it above the entrance to the plane. Las Vegas. Holy crap! I looked at Ashley in shock.
“What are we going to Las Vegas for?” I asked. “You know I don’t believe in gambling.”
“It’s not to gamble.” He laughed.
“Still not going to tell me?”
“Nope.” He kissed me. “It’s a surprise.”
About half an hour later they started calling seating sections. We were close to the front so we were some of the last people on the plane. After we took off I promptly fell asleep.

“Belle.” Ashley shook me awake. I looked at my watch; it was almost 9:00pm. “Look out your window.”
I did as he asked and saw all of Las Vegas spread before me. I could see all the hotels and the strip. The whole city was lit up like a Christmas tree. It was amazing. “Wow.” I said.
“I know, it’s really beautiful at night.” Ashley said.
A few minutes later we landed and Ashley and I were heading out of the airport. We got into a cab and Ashley told the driver to take us to Planet Hollywood. I couldn’t believe it; this was so surreal. We checked in at the hotel and went up to our room on the twentieth floor. The room was amazing walk-in shower, flat screen TV, giant closet and a mini bar. I had never been anywhere this nice. After exploring the room a little I decided to go to bed. I wanted to be rested for whatever Ashley had planned for tomorrow.

The next morning I got up around 8:30am. I had a quick shower and let Ashley sleep a little longer. Then I started to get hungry. I knew the restaurant in the hotel must be busy and expensive, so I looked for an alternative. I found a coffee shop on the main floor and got breakfast there. Some muffins, fruit and coffee. I also got some for Ashley and went back up to our room. When I got there he was just getting up.
“Morning Ashley.” I sat down in a comfy chair and started eating.
“Where’d you go?” He asked.
“Breakfast. Here, have some coffee.”
He took it gladly and started drinking it. “So, today would be a good day for exploring.” He said.
“Okay, where?” I asked.
“There’s actually a mall in the hotel. I thought we could do a bit of shopping.”
“Okay. That should be fun.” I replied.

We were walking around the mall and had already been there for a bit over an hour. Then we passed a shop called Club Tattoo. That intrigued me. Ashley had so many and they all looked wonderful. I had been toying with the idea for a couple of months and this was the perfect opportunity. I grabbed Ashley’s arm and pulled him into the store.
“You want a tattoo?” Ashley asked.
“Yes. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and want to do it.” I answered.
A man came out to greet us. “How can I help you today?”
“I’d like to get my first tattoo please.” I said.
“Sure, do you know what kind of tattoo you’d like?” He asked.
“I’d like some lyrics tattooed on my left forearm.” I said.
“Okay, Here’s a book of styles of lettering. I’ll give you a moment to look over them.” He handed me the book and headed into the back of the shop.
“You going to tell me what you’re getting?” Ashley asked.
“Nope, it’s a surprise.” I winked. I found the style I wanted and told the guy when he came back out.
“All right then, follow me.”
I followed him into a small room and got on the chair. I wrote down what I wanted him to tattoo and waited for him to start. It didn’t take too long and hurt less than I thought it would. I guess having a high tolerance for pain can come in handy some times. When he was done he let me look at it in the mirror.

He covered it with a bandage and told me I had to leave it on for at least three hours. I thanked him and went back out to find Ashley.
“So? What is it?” He asked.
“You’ll find out when I take the bandage off tonight.” I said with a laugh.
“Fine.” He kissed the top of my head. “For now I’ll just imagine it’s something beautiful.”

We had just finished dinner and it was almost 7:30pm. I changed into something a little nicer and went into the bathroom to take off the bandage. I went back out and showed it to Ashley.
“Belle, that’s awesome!” He smiled.
“I like it too, it’s our song.”
“Yes it is.” He kissed the top of my head. “Come on, our show starts soon.”
We went downstairs and through the casino until we reached a set of escalators that went up to what I assumed was the concert area. We reached the top and my jaw dropped to the floor. On the wall right in front of me on a huge poster was Meat Loaf. I couldn’t believe it.
“Are you happy?” Ashley asked, smiling at me.
“Are you kidding? I’m over the freakin’ moon! This is amazing!” I jumped on him and kissed him. “You are the best boyfriend ever.”
“Thank you. Now, should we go watch this? Or are you going to keep me here, holding you?”
“Let’s go!” I jumped back down and dragged him inside.
The show was amazing. All of my favorite songs as well as some Q&A bits. Those were really interesting. My favorite moment of the night had to be when he sang Bat Out of Hell at the end and there was a giant bat hanging over the stage and small bats flying out over the audience. We finally got out and I was grinning for ear to ear. I was so happy.
We got back to our hotel room and I decided to show Ashley how much I loved this. I pulled him towards the bed and started pulling his clothes off.
“This is a nice surprise.” He said.
“Shut up and kiss me.” I said.
He did as I asked. Once we were both naked I pulled him down onto the bed with me. He kissed me passionately and ran my fingers through his hair, pulling and tugging. He moaned into the kiss. He moved down to my breasts and gave them a lot of attention with his mouth. As he was doing this he was teasing me with his fingers.
“Ashley! Please!” He was driving me crazy and I needed him inside me now.
“What do you want Belle?”
“Want you. Need you inside me.” I pleaded.
“I thought so.”
He quickly slid into me and went at a fast pace. I hooked my legs over his hips, trying to pull him closer. He kept pumping faster and faster. I was meeting every thrust with one of my own. Then I could feel it. That warmth building inside my core.
“Ashley!” I screamed as I came.
He pumped into me a few more times before he cried out, “Belle!” He emptied himself into me and rode out his orgasm.
He slowly pulled out of me and I curled up to him in the bed. He kissed my lips, then my forehead.
“Night Ashley.”
“Night Belle.”
I fell asleep to the sound of his breathing.
