Chapter 9
Eden's P.O.V.
Eric has come to me with more information on Helena. She is just sealing her fate more and more by spending time with this CC. I have to give her credit though for a human he is quite attractive. It is only a matter of time before she tells him her little 'secret'. Then I can finally report her to the council and take great pleasure in watching them kill her. Everyone in Davey's clan always said I was jealous of her that is why I left. Helena was always too good, too pretty, too pure. She embodies every single thing I hate. Soon she will be dead.
Davey's P.O.V.
Helena has been gone every night this week. I'm beginning to get a little suspicious about her behavior. She has always been one to do things her way. I just hope that she isn't fraternizing with humans. The last thing I want for her is for her to be reported to the council and executed. I will need to have a serious talk with her once she gets back.
Jinnx's P.O.V.
I decided to consult Michael on this situation. I arrived at his mansion and he greets me, "Jinxx. It's been a while. You're looking well." I reply, "As are you Michael. I need to speak with you." Michael says, "Okay." I say, "I think CC is in love with a vampire from Davey's clan." He asks, "Who?" I answer, "Helena." Michael replies, "I fail to see the problem here. Vampires have mated with humans before." I say, "There may be someone following her to get information. I believe they are planning to report her to the council." A look of realization crosses his face and he says, "There is only one vampire who would seek to harm Helena." I ask, "Who?" Michael replies, "Eden. Before Helena was created she was Davey's favorite. But after Helena joined Eden became bitter, jealous, and hellbent in destroying her."
I reply, "I see. But Helena and CC want to see each other again even though they aren't supposed to. I don't see how they would date without seeing each other only at night." Michael says, "For now they will have to only at night. But Davey and I are working on harnessing the sun's ultraviolet light into wearable accessories so we will be able to walk into the light." I say, "Wow that's great." Michael says, "Yeah this is our biggest breakthrough. Maybe you can gather evidence to show support that CC might not be human then surely there is no reason for the council to be involved. Let Eden gather what information she wants then go to the coucil and prove her wrong." I say, "Thank you Michael." He replies, "Anytime. Say hi to Sammi for me." I nod and leave. Okay CC let's check out the information on your ancestors.
